A large number of local doctors who support PTI also were among the crowd. The audience was very shocked and sorry to hear how Shahbaz Gill and other individuals in Pakistan have been subjected to human rights violations, including abduction, torture, and interrogation. Such actions are unacceptable and go against the fundamental principles of human rights and dignity. It’s important for governments to ensure that the rule of law is upheld and that individuals are not subjected to such abuses. Additionally, it’s crucial for independent media and civil society organizations to have the freedom to report on and raise awareness about such issues.

If you or anyone you know is currently facing human rights violations, I would encourage you to reach out to local or international human rights organizations for support and advocacy. Shahbaz Gill emphasized the importance of upholding the Constitution and seeking justice through legal channels.

The Supreme Court is indeed a key institution in ensuring that the rule of law is upheld and that individuals are not subjected to human rights violations. Encouraging overseas Pakistanis to get in touch with their local representatives in parliament, senate, and provincial assemblies is also a good step towards raising awareness and advocating for change. It’s important for elected officials to hear from their constituents and understand their concerns, including issues related to human rights and justice. Ultimately, it’s essential for all individuals, regardless of their nationality or location, to stand up for human rights and speak out against any violations. This can involve advocating for policy changes, supporting civil society organizations, and promoting awareness and education about human rights issues.
