Digital Egg presents second BC Halal Food Fest at Holland Park, Surrey

On June 8th-9th, Second British Columbia’s halal food festival was organized by the Digital Egg with the help of multiple sponsors and volunteers. With over 40 vendors serving delicious food and drinks along with many fun activities for kids, the event was a success.

It was a Free Entry event and open to all communities to visit at Holland Park, Surrey. Vendors represented a diverse range of communities including Pakistani, Indonesian, Lebanese, Palestinian, Syrian, Indian, and Central Asian communities along with mainstream halal favorites like pizza, burg- ers, and tacos. Everyone served delicious and fresh food at their stalls and people were excited to try it as observed with the long queues in front of a few stalls for both days. Food lovers were willing to wait over half an hour with their friends and families to try different treats. The event was an overwhelming response by thousands of people on both days.
