Scope of Work
The two following projects are examples of the scope of work I engaged in across the range of KO projects that I was involved in. Great South Rd is one example of a project where the house designs were based on Multi-proof drawings supplied by KO. We were tasked with accommodating the existing drawings to the site, undertaking all relevant land-use zoning requirements and making changes to meet H1 requirements. Cadman was a bespoke project, I was primarily involved in producing the interior drawings for Building consent. Interiors were necessary for this consent application through Consentium as there were strict guidelines and requirements to follow based on the M255 Design Guide.

Project Brief
A conceptual design for a three-bedroom home elevated between a north-facing valley on a sloping site in Mangawhai. The concept was to manipulate and combine two modular ‘Coolhouse’ designs - the ‘Mint’ and the ‘Mini’. The design optimizes countryside views with a direct north-facing layout looking beyond the valley. Living and dining areas are enclosed within a glass pavilion-like design, creating a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Project Brief
Tindalls Bay is a high-end beach-front residential project that is currently underway into phase two of construction. The design makes the most of its site by incorporating a subterranean basement containing a four car garage, wine cellar, and a tackle room. Cast in concrete, this ‘bunker’ forms the foundation for the rest of the house.
Spine walls of tilt-slab concrete penetrate the two floors above, defining the floor plan of the living areas and bedrooms. The ground floor comprises openplan living, plus a couple of bedrooms. The top floor houses the master suite, another bedroom and an office space.
