I LOVE painting on wood, I love the smell of wood. The way the ink reacts on a wooden surface is always unique and almost always unpredictable. That's the beauty of it. I also love working with dimensional objects, they are challenging and make you think. It brings joy and emotional satisfaction, just like solving a mental puzzle :-) I've been painting on rocks, eggs and wooden materials for a really, really long time, ever since I was a little girl. However, I began keeping track of the art I painted only around 2015. That's when people began asking me to paint for them. I was happy to sell my art as it allowed me more space to create more work in the coming year. This album is for my personal records, so I remember the things I painted in 2015 - 2019.
