When I designed Contemporary art centre, I focused on the concept of Abstractism & having expression of art in building's exterior.

Building’s exterior is covered with white screen walls for the purpose of not giving visitors emotional influence of buildings aesthetic over the arts in the building.

The screen walls were made with triangle hollows as an art of abstraction and the properties of triangle being the most stable form of all forms.

White color is used for the visitors to feel comfortable/pure and let them enjoy the arts more without having additional emotional influences from colors’ emotional influence.

As for building's floor plan I used the form of waves which have the feeling of flexibility and softness like of those of arts. And there is a roof garden on the building and a pond to make the visitors feel as comfortable as possible while visiting the art centre.

A 30 feet two way lane is provided at the east side of the Pyay road as the main entrance. A private lane is provided for the staff to enter the Administration Zone.

A 60 cars ,public car parking is located at the west side of the building, and there is 5 available spaces for tour buses to park . Car Parking is stationed carefully to able to access the to the building with ease.

The building is located on an island which is inside the Inya Lay Lake. So the site is at the corner of Pyay road and Parami road. As for the main entrance, into the site, it can get access from the Pyay road.

The screen wall is installed 10 feet away from the building. The screen wall functions as a sun shader but the 10 feet distance of air between building and the screen wall, acts as temperature control equipment which allows the temperature difference of inside and outside as low as possible.

9-Storey Residence

Project Description : 9-storey Residence with a basement. The goal of the design is to get natural sun lights to the fullest , and the curtain walls are used to enjoy and capture the beautiful scenery surrounding the Building.
