Dress up and join in the Aomori Nebuta Festival parade as a dancer! Without a doubt, this is one of the most well-known festivals in Japan. The festival is held during the fi rst week of August each year and features nightly parades of giant illuminated paper fl oats depicting traditional Tsugaru art and thousands of chanting dancers and drums. The full parade takes place for six nights through downtown Aomori City. Includes transportation, guide and traditional Nebuta costume • Moderately challenging activity; jumping and dancing in summer heat is a strenuous activity.
