Kayla Reichenbach Assistant Director Misawa Arts & Crafts Center
FSS Spotlight
What is your favorite part about working at Arts & Crafts?
My favorite part about working with the Arts and Crafts Center is the fun I have with the other girls. We are really a tight-knit group and get along so well, which makes working here that much more enjoyable. They are my family away from home.
What do you wish the Misawa Community knew about your programs?
What I wish the Misawa Community knew about our program is that we have a framing, graphic, and wood shop department. These programs are often overlooked because they are in a different location. Our staff is comprised of amazing, hardworking and talented individuals! What is your best Arts & Crafts memory?
My best memory with the Arts and Crafts Center is getting to plan and set up for our big events, like Winter Extravaganza. Having a hand in planning from start to fi nish and seeing how it affects the community here on Misawa Air Base is a very satisfying feeling.
