REMOTE TOUR BRIEF Mondays | May 2 & 23 10–11 a.m. This brief is only required for military members with dependents who are projected to PCS to a remote location in which dependents will Not join the military member. Spouse attendance is highly recommended. 10 STEPS TO A FEDERAL JOB Tuesday, May 3 9–11 a.m.

This workshop covers a variety of topics such as federal service, how to research job announcements, pay scales, how to write a resume and proper procedures for applying for positions through USAJOBS.

TSP 101-SAVING & INVESTING Tuesday, May 3 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. If you are just learning about the TSP or looking for more information to advance your knowledge, you are bound to  nd out something new in this TSP 101 workshop. Topics include fund options, Roth vs. Traditional and it can count as the Planning for Retirement Planning Starter touchpoint for those needing it. Feel free to bring your lunch.

PRE-DEPLOYMENT WORKSHOP Wednesdays | May 4 & 25 10–11 a.m. Required 30–60 days prior to a members departure for deployment of 30+ days or extended TDY of 179+ days. Spouse attendance is highly recommended. All attendees must register for this workshop. Uniform not required.

CAREER CREDENTIALS AND EXPLORATION (C2E) Thursday, May 5–Friday, May 6 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Facilitated by the Department of Labor, this vocational workshop offers an opportunity to identify skills, increase awareness of training and credentialing programs and develop an action plan to achieve career goals. Service members will complete personalized career development assessments that will provide them with job recommendations. REINTEGRATION WORKSHOP

Fridays | May 6 & 27 9–11 a.m. Required within 7 days of return to home station for deployed personnel and prior to beginning R&R. Spouses are highly recommended to attend. Uniform not required.

Tuesday, May 24 8:30 a.m.–Noon Community Commons, Bldg. 1006 Highlight key areas of personal / family preparation for military spouses to work through the unique challenges of a deployment or extended TDY (179+ days). HOMEBUYING SEMINAR Thursday, May 26 11 a.m.–1 p.m. This workshop provides information about how to prepare for homeownership, tips to increase  nancial knowledge about buying a home, types of mortgage loans, prequali cation vs preapproval, loan process and what VA Home Loans offer for service members. Opened to Q&A from 12:30–1 p.m. Feel free to bring your lunch.
