"I want to be a beauty with a purpose. Create a legacy of total wellness that is focused on education, entrepreneurship, personal development, and environmental awareness to the up and coming Asian Americans and Paciic Islanders, our next generation, and our future." Esmeralda Padilla-Gould Mrs. Asian Las Vegas 2014-2015 I have so much to be grateful for during my reign. It has been an amazing journey since I have won the inaugural title of Mrs. Asian Las Vegas 2014-2015. It's going to be a bittersweet moment to nally relinquish my crown, but I am excited and looking forward to a new chapter in my life in humanitarian service as the president of Las Vegas Spring Valley Lions Club, which is my real passion aside from singing. Never in my wildest dreams would I expect to be in a beauty pageant, let alone winning it. I feel privileged to have been given the role of representing my own Filipino heritage in many diverse cultural festivities. It feels wonderful to help raise funds whenever I participate in charity events to make helping others possible. This has allowed me to explore and discover several hidden facets of my personality and desire to give back to the community. This experience helped me understand the broad scope of what it really feels like to make a difference and has no doubt shaped me to be the proud woman I am today. I believe that the true meaning of success is not measured by acquiring many tangible items in this world or achievements you've done, but what I feel inside while reeecting on the direction of my own moral compass in knowing the heading has been pre-determined by Miss Asian Las Vegas and the charitable organizations, Wellness Enhancers International and Las Vegas Spring Valley Lions Club, I have proudly been involved with. I want to be remembered as someone who generously shared her time and effort to enhance other people's lives. My heart is lled with so much joy and gratitude. I would like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of Gene Santos and McCoy Calantog Antiojo, who poured out their hearts and souls to create a masterpiece that made me win the Best in Ethnic Costume. The long hours and sleepless nights spent fabricating the ethnic costume has paid off. It's truly a magniicent work of art! You're both kind and exceptionally talented! I'm very fortunate to have friends like you. Eugene Santos also did my hair and make-up for the pageant. I can't thank you enough for being genuinely concerned about me. You have made sure everything was perfect for the day of the pageant. A million thanks to all my family and friends who have inspired me since the very beginning and have expressed their love and support! Everyone who campaigned and liked my Facebook page. Thank you, Tito Robin Padilla, Ate Zsa Zsa Padilla, Karylle, Gloria and Ciara Hadarly, my mentor Tita Esterlina Lim (You've tremendously helped me in so many ways and for that I will always be eternally grateful.), My Mela-BFF Christine Small for always being ready to help without asking for anything in return, Dr. Michael Sta. Juana for encouraging me to join the pageant, and Ate Ching Serrano (Thank for your hard work campaigning for me until the wee hours. The night that th you came and prayed for me and with me on my bed meant a lot to me. I believe in the power of prayers.), Annvi Fuller for training me before the pageant, Ben Sahagun Photography, Rongrace Photography, Bill Parker Bagwell Photography, James Hsu, Kent Wong, Bill Bon my Melaleuca family, of course, Annie Chang-Evans, the founder/CEO of Ms. Asian North America, for creating an organization to discover, promote, and empower Asian American women. Joey Galon, (who was the pageant coach & choreographer during my time), and sponsors Excel Auto Service through the owner Geralde Gallego; Atlas Shipping Jeff Yapyoco; Liza Ochiai of Aloha Kitchen, and judges for their trust in my ability to perform the function of being the rst Mrs. Asian Las Vegas; and their belief in my platform of leaving a legacy of total wellness. To my beloved family. My husband Jeffrey Gould who gives his 100% support in whatever I want to do. For allowing me to explore, dream, and discover. To my eight-year-old son, Kenneth Jeffrey Gould, who is as adorable as his Dad for being very understanding when Mommy is not available. Of course, to my parents Federico and Corazon Padilla, brothers Dennis and Alfred Padilla, my in-laws Antionette and Jeff Gould. To God Almighty for all the blessings that He showered my family and me. To my sister queens, Rianne Lu, Ami Bayani, Shelby Kanani, Ashley Liu, Jamie Stephenson, and Tammy Tsai, I am very proud of all of you and everything you've accomplished. You are all the epitome of a woman with substance. To all the new delegates of Ms. Asian North America and to my successor: Identify what is important for you to accomplish in your life. Have a plan in nding time to work hard to reach your goals and dreams, envision your success, have faith in yourself, conquer your fears, face the challenges have a positive attitude, and stay focused. Ultimately, if you truly have the passion, dream not only for yourself but for the beneet of others, it seems like it's easier to reach for your goals and dreams while having Ultim hope and love to guide you to success. If you fail, don't be discouraged, see and learn the value in experience. Do not allow anything to stop you from pursuing your 13 Ms. Asian North America 2016 dreams. Surround yourself with people who will bring out the best in you. And lastly, enjoy the journey and be grateful.
These past 2 years has been an amazing experience for me as MRS Senior Asian Las Vegas!!! I joined the pageant to have a memorable experience with my daughter, and to challenge myself. I never expected to win anything; winning or losing just wasn't that important to me, and yet I was very blessed to be crowned Mrs. Senior Asian Las Vegas, and also won the talent award with my daughter. Never Ne in my life did I image or dream of being 52 years old and a delegate in a beauty pageant. It was a very big surprise to my friends, family and mostly to my husband. Yet, I set up my mind that I was going to enter with the attitude of challenging myself and to be a positive example and role model to my daughter. During my reign, I participated in many meaningful activities and cultural events. Here are just a few of them: Gave speeches to many dierent Asian and Non-Asian groups and events, Performed with my daughter at many Asian cultural events and activities, Met with governor of Nevada to help support the Chinese community in Las Vegas, Fundraised for the non-proot charity organization, "Kisses for Kids," Hosted the Secretary of Business Development of China during his visit to Las Vegas, Awarded by mayor of St. Gabriel, CA as being one of the top 100 most innuential Chinese in America for 2015. One of my main goals was to empower women of all ages to never give up their dreams and to always search for the best they can do in their lives. I am a strong believer of the power of positive attitude, and that with positive attitude we can accomplish just about anything we have our mind set on in life! Being a part of this pageant, I have proven that: Nothing is Impossible, and impossible is nothing!!!

SAKE ROK hosted our 2015 Miss Asian Queen’s Farewell Party on Jun 9, 2016. SAKE ROK – Transforms into a high-profile social dining extravaganza, immersing
guests in an experience part culinary, part performance and completely unexpected.
Inspired by Japan’s vibrant pop culture, servers doubling as entertainers invite guests to partake in restaurant-wide camaraderie. Expect the unexpected, including restaurant-wide sake bombs, impromptu dance parties and lip-sync serenades. An outlandish and extravagant master of ceremonies will keep the energy and the sake flowing late into the night as Sake Rok transitions into a lively bar and lounge.

The 2016 Miss Asian North America pageant launched its 4th Year Kicko party on May 6, 2016 at Sushi Roku! Sushi Roku creates innovative sushi dishes using both traditional and non-traditional ingredients. The High Roller roll and the Roku Signature style sushi are both delicious examples of their contemporary menu. One of our favorites is the Sushi Roku Salmon Carpaccio with True Oil, as pictured here. Sushi Roku, located inside The Forum Shops of Caesars Palace, is a dining experience that you will not regret.
