What is the Bible? The Bible is the holy book for Christians. The contents of the Bible are often referred to as Scripture - which means holy writings. Christians read the whole Bible and Jews only read the beginning of the Bible.
What is in the Bible? There are two parts of the Bible:
The Bible is not one book; it is made up of different books.
The Old Testament (the first section) and the New Testament (the second section).
Each book has a number of chapters.
