THE CHALLENGE

How do we take one of the world’s largest providers of pork and unfragment their data to increase the quality and extend the life of livestock. For every 1% of mortality, there was millions of dollars in loss to the family of farmers. They were data rich, but information poor, unable to synthesize the information into insights they could use.

THE SOLUTION

From delivery to food supply – we pulled in millions of data points from the complexities of DNA to lower mortality rates across one of the largest swine operators in the world. We made a system that was easy to use and easy for farmers to see a tangible increase in animal health and as a HAPPY result, millions of additional Americans were able to be fed. THE RESULTS The system we established ultimately launched a separate company that Summer! was purchased by a global farming organization – all possible because of the partnership that Acuity and csg established nearly a decade ago.
