Farewell I would like to take this opportunity to thank parents/carers, students, staff and members of the community for their support during my time as Head Teacher at Lasswade High School. This is a fantastic school and I have been privileged to have had the opportunity to take the school forward and assist in the creation of a new school building, fit for the 21st century. I am extremely pleased with the appointment of Mr Alan Williamson as my successor. He has an excellent record as a Head Teacher at Hawick High School and is highly respected in his community. Mr Williamson will take up his appointment at Lasswade High School at the start of the session on Monday 19 August. I wish him much success as Head Teacher and in developing the new school. I hope that you and your family will have a good summer holiday this year and wish you well for the future. Yours sincerely
Albert Jaster
Head Teacher
