Cheboygan Campus Gets a Facelift
Thanks to you, updates to the Cheboygan Campus are meeting patient needs. Cheboygan Outpatient Therapy Area Transformed
The Cheboygan Campus serves more than 6,700 patients in its outpatient therapy unit every year. Thanks to gifts from generous donors, especially the Cheboygan Campus Guild, the therapy gym has been expanded and updated with new parallel bars and a new NuStep Cross Trainer. Your gifts also helped create a new waiting area and relocated the reception area to an enclosed space for staff with a sliding window to provide more privacy for patients during registration and scheduling of appointments.
Emergency Department Renovation
Your support of the Cheboygan Campus made a complete renovation of the Emergency Department possible, including: • Revitalizing treatment rooms with new cabinets, paint, lighting, curtains, and chairs. • Painting hallways ,treatment rooms, and waiting room • Furnishing the waiting room with comfortable and easy to clean chairs and tables • Installing flooring throughout the ED and the Main Entrance
Equipment Purchases
• Cardiac Rehabilitation Telemetry Monitoring System allows for real-time observation of cardiac changes and timely response, treatment, and intervention. • Ultraviolet Disinfecting Robots provide an extra level of sanitization by killing bacteria, drug-resistant superbugs, and airborne diseases. • Weights and positioning bean bags provide comfort during surgical procedures. • iPads assist with patient education. • Camera, coupler and lens expedite arthroscopic joint surgeries
