We’re already off to an exciting start in 2023.
Tune in to our podcast.
“Tell me it’s Friday” is our podcast where our Community Relations Specialist, Meghan Morelli, sits down with money matter experts, business leaders, nonprofit organizations, event organizers, and community advocates to talk about what’s going on out in their world. Tune in. Hey, it’s Monday and we’re all just trying to get to Friday! So why not start the week off with some laughs? And if we learn a few things along the way, then we’d say we’re doing alright. We’re 4 a better world.
It’s been a busy year for The 4Front Foundation! We awarded $25,000 in grants to 5 different non-profits from western and northern Michigan. We also donated $2,500 to the Otsego Community Foundation to help with tornado relief efforts following the tornado that struck the community of Gaylord on May 20, 2022.
Grant recipients: Northern Michigan Equine Therapy; Hand2Hand; Cheybogan County Habitat for Humanity, Home Stretch Nonprofit Housing, and Boot for Kids.
Our first fundrasing event raised over $16,500. We’re currently accepting applications for scholarships for graduating high school seniors. Mark your calendars - we’re hosting our annual 4Front Foundation gala on June 3. This summer, we’ll open our second grant cycle.
Our giving is focused on four pillars: providing scholarships, grants, financial wellness education, and emergency disaster aid to our communities. Visit 4frontcu.com/foundation to learn more and donate.
