Sportsman’s Park

Located downtown where Lake Charlevoix and the Jordan River meet. New home of E.J.&S.R.R. Engine #6. Perfect for viewing waterfowl and wildlife including bald eagles and osprey. Several fishing piers for rainbow and brown trout; in autumn, view the spawning Chinook salmon. Also home of the Jordan River Watershed Center and the Friends of the Jordan.

East Jordan City Marina

Located only one block off Main Street, the Municipal Harbor is within walking distance to local restaurants and friendly shops. Open May 15 - October 15, the Municipal Harbor offers 27 seasonal boat slips, 27 transient boat slips, shopping docks, full-service gasoline, pump-out station, ice and restrooms. Shower facilities are available for seasonal and transient slip holders.and the Friends of the Jordan.

Memorial Park & Band Shell

Location: 101 Spring St.

Memorial Park is the land entry to our beautiful Harbor. It’s a lovely place to enjoy a picnic or to just relax while watching birds, boats and fishing action. In 2005, a bandshell was constructed in the park which has live entertainment most weekends throughout the summer. There are picnic tables, grills and public restrooms within the park. And now, an ice skating rink in winter! Site of the East Jordan Garden Club Farmer’s Market, May through October, Thursdays 8 a.m. to noon.

East Jordan Civic Center

Location: 101 Civic Center Ln. More Info: 231-536-3381

The Civic Center may be rented for receptions & parties, and used for recreational activities.

East Jordan Rotary Skate Park

Location: State St.

This 1.5 acre skatepark includes a HMA skatepad, half-pipe, quarter-pipe, multiple grind rails, and multipurpose ramp. ALSO... 4 Pickle Ball courts! Open to the public, spring through fall.

Also visit Ellsworth Community Park, Ellsworth River Park, and in Atwood - Antrim Creek Natural Area & Banks Township Park.

Tourist Park Campground & Beach

Location: 215 N. Lake St. More info: 231-536-2561

On the shores of Lake Charlevoix. Campsites range from full hook-ups to partial hook-ups, 3 modern cabins and 12 tent campsites. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campground. Daily, monthly, and seasonal rates are all available. Open April-October. The park has a beautiful beach, sports fields, tennis & basketball courts, playground, pavilion, boat dock rentals and a log building for party rental. Winter indoor ice skating rink in log building and coming soon - boat launch!

East Jordan Community Park

This 40-acre state-of-the-art recreation facility includes: • 3 Soccer fields with irrigation • 4 Regulation baseball/softball diamonds with irrigation and fencing • Lighted 250-car paved and gravel parking area • Renovated Concession / Restroom / Pressbox building • Disc Golf course • Hiking trails; Playground • Groomed cross-country ski and snowshoe trails

Elm Pointe

Location: 1656 S. M-66 Hwy. More info: 231-536-2363

An 11-acres park with frontage on the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix. Site of the East Jordan Portside Art & Historical Museum, which houses artifacts from lumbering era, an agricultural exhibit, E.J. & Southern Railroad memorabilia, and a salute to the military and local manufacturing. Also home to the Cygred Riley Art Gallery with collection of Purchase Prize artworks from the annual Portside Arts Fair.
