“We’ve had a delightful introduction and indoctrination to our 2021 Chris Craft Launch GT 31 from the entire team at Walstrom Marine. From our initial contact, around April 15 of this year, through your nicely organized website, and almost immediate response from Steve Wolfe (yacht sales) to our most recent conversation with Cathy Ward (accounts receivable), everyone has been just terrific. Our primary residence is in San Antonio, Texas but in the summer, you will find us on Mullett Lake, so the actual purchase and delivery of our boat was on a tight timeline. Steve Wolfe did an outstanding job at having everything prepared for our visit to the Harbor Springs showroom to purchase the boat. Andrea Lightfoot (business manager) was on hand and presented all the documents in a comprehensive fashion. After the transaction was complete, the fun began! And it did! We can’t thank Captain Kurt Hartlieb III (delivery captain) enough for his day of instruction and continued willingness to take phone calls from us when we have “a question probably only Captain Kurt can answer!” We are happy to call Walstrom Marine, Cheboygan, our home marina, as the service and storage of our boat happens there! Dave Cope (service manager) has built a great Cheboygan team and we are so impressed with his excellent attitude and the support we also have received from Heather Lake (office manager). Dave and his Cheboygan team have already bailed us out of operational issues on more than one occasion and constantly remind us that we are on our boat to have fun! Overall Walstrom Marine has been a fantastic experience!”

“I had Googled Sea Ray dealers in Florida because I live in Trinidad in the Caribbean. I spent most of my week contacting a list of dealers that I had found on the internet. Each number I called would put me on to another number and most numbers had no answer. I even found and called the Sea Ray dealer in Puerto Rico. After spending two days calling, I did get through to someone who took my email address. I thought that I had hit the jackpot only to realize no one was responding to my emails. So, I started my search again. This time I decided to look closer to the Sea Ray factory which is further from me. This time I truly did hit the jackpot. I called Walstrom Marine and was connected to Rick. Rick listened to all my needs and assured me that he would answer my email. Sure enough, within minutes, Rick had responded. “A special thank you to the crew at Walstrom Marine. Ordering a boat during COVID was no easy task. Scott Way showed great patience in getting the boat ordered and kept us in the loop as it was being built. Learning the nuances of a bigger boat comes with its own challenges. Captain Kurt Hartlieb spent a 12 plus hour day with us, proving you CAN teach an old dog new tricks, showing me everything I needed to know about the boat to give me confidence and keeping my family and others safe. He gave me his mobile number and asked I call him anytime with questions. Scott Sutliff, the dock master at Walstrom, was very kind and helpful when we stayed the night at the marina. Scott keeps the marina in tip top shape, the place is spotless. Nikki Landon, in the Harbor Springs service department, made it easy for me to winter the boat and make plans on taking the boat out next year.
