MICRONSPHERE: A stain-resistant and waterrepellent fabric from Lanificio, the Ermenegildo Zegna wool mill.
The development of Micronsphere was inspired by the water-repellant nature of lotus leaves. Their sophisticated surface prevents dirt and water from adhering to the plant. Ermenegildo Zegna has imitated this natural phenomenon using nanotechnologies to create a virtually stain-resistant cloth. The fine finish of this fabric maintains a soft touch and will allow for cleaning without affecting performance. The Micronsphere suit, blazer and trousers are wardrobe staples ideal for travel and everyday wear.
