THE 5TH GENERATION HAS ARRIVED
5
Used by touring professionals around the globe for nearly 20 years, Diamana™ is the winningest driver shaft family in the history of professional golf. Built to the most exacting standards, Diamana™ has been providing legendary feel and unmatched performance since the day it was launched. This season, we welcome the 5th Generation.
™
6
A LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE + TOUR RESULTS The Diamana™ 5th Generation is here: Diamana™ TB, a blue mid-launch profile, and Diamana™ PD, a white low-launch profile. In a continuing effort to offer the best fitting experience possible, Diamana™ 5th Generation shafts use Consistent Feel Design™ to minimize variance in butt OD, weight and balance point through the entire range – from 40R2 to 80TX. The Diamana™ TB offers a classic blue-board feel and mid-launch profile while the Diamana™ PD feels more active in the hands with a stronger, stiffer tip to promote a lower-launching ball flight. Both are constructed using our exclusive dual-phase Xlink Tech™ Resin System, high modulus MR70, and Boron fiber to create the renowned Diamana smooth feel that always remains stable throughout the swing.

DEEP POWER FOR THE MODERN GOLFER Kai’li™, a single word from two — “Kai” meaning ocean, “Li” energy — meant to embody the immense power and mystery of the ocean. As more than 85% of the ocean remains undiscovered, any shaft launched under the Kai’li name is representative of another 8
discovery in shaft innovation. The same way much of the ocean remains undiscovered, so too does shaft technology and innovation. For 2022, Mitsubishi Chemical Golf is proud to introduce its first new wood shaft family since 2015.

A TIDAL SHIFT IN SHAFT PERFORMANCE Kai’li™ White explores new depths of power and performance in a low-launch, low-spin driver shaft. Designed to keep torque low under the demands of today’s high-velocity swings, Kai’li™ White features an extremely strong MR70-reinforced tip to promote consistent center-face impact and tighter dispersion. Additionally, a taper butt design – the first in a Mitsubishi Chemical low-launch profile – along with Super Low Resin Content (S.L.R.C.) Prepreg and increased carbon fiber ratio in the torque core produce a smooth, responsive feel in the hands not often associated with low launch profiles.

THE INDUSTRY STANDARD IN PREMIUM 1K CARBON The word TENSEI™ loosely translates to “transformation.” So, for a product to bear the TENSEI™ name, it must represent a significant and meaningful transformation from previous iterations. For this season, the TENSEI™ 1K Pro family represents the marriage of Mitsubishi Chemical’s latest and greatest construction techniques and the industry’s most premium, advanced materials to turn over every imaginable stone in the pursuit of perfection. The TENSEI™ 1K Pro family is the next form of our CK and AV families and is the best we can do… for now.
™
BUILT FOR THE PLAYER DEMANDING PERFECTION The TENSEI™ 1K Pro Series was built for the player who seeks perfection. Created using 16
extraordinary 1K Fiber that is 3x thinner than Carbon Kevlar for a tighter, more consistent weave, this super premium fiber produces an amazing “1K feel” by transmitting more of the high frequency vibrations needed to feel the true quality of impact. Constructed utilizing the new dual-phase Xlink Tech™ Resin System for a carbon-rich structure that is both stronger and more responsive, boron fiber in the tip caps off this exceptional design. The first in the 1K series, TENSEI™ 1K Pro White, is an extraordinarily responsive low-launch profile already proven on tour. TENSEI™ 1K Pro Orange builds on the legacy of CK Orange by incorporating 1K Carbon Fiber to create Mitsubishi Chemical’s most premium counterbalanced offering ever.

AN AFTERMARKET EXCLUSIVE REIMAGINED The next evolution of Mitsubishi Chemical’s aftermarket exclusive C6™ family uses our iconic Titanium Nickel (TiNi) Wire technology. Titanium Nickel is what’s known as a memory metal – a material that resists deformation and always works to return to its resting state. Both the new C6™ RED and C6™ BLUE feature a bright, bold new cosmetic and Mitsubishi Chemical’s renowned TiNi Wire Technology in an all-new application in the tip section.
20
AN AFTERMARKET EXCLUSIVE REIMAGINED The new C6™ RED features a bright, bold new cosmetic and delivers higher trajectory and higher spin through a lower kick point, but still maintains its stable and forgiving performance through the use of specially-oriented TiNi Wire in the tip section. Like the C6™ RED, the C6™ BLUE also features a new modernized cosmetic and utilizes our TiNi Wire Technology to achieve responsive performance, smooth feel, and mid-launch/midspin performance designed to help the golfer deliver the club head more consistently. Tighter dispersion is created via lower torque and mid-launch is achieved through a higher kick point. C6™ BLACK Iron and Hybrid shafts are available in a stunning new cosmetic and feature a unique profile designed to deliver smooth feel and consistency swing-to-swing.

MMT™ PUTTER CONCEPT JOINS THE FAMILY Based on the tour success of MMT™ Irons and MMT™ Hybrids , MMT™ Putter — an offering to deliver composite consistency on the green — was the next obvious evolution for the patent-pending Metal Mesh technology innovation. Like MMT™ Irons and Hybrids, MMT™ Putter employs a strategically adapted Metal Mesh to maximize performance, feel, and stability in a way no other composite putter shaft can. Additionally, with MMT™ Putter Concept and MMT™ Wood, players can now play MMT™ throughout the entire bag.
W NE 24
™
25
MMT™ PUTTER CONCEPT Solidify your putting consistency with an MMT™ Putter shaft. Players everywhere are realizing the benefits a composite shaft can bring to putting performance. Now you can carry the strength and feel of Metal Mesh Technology (MMT™) from tee to green. Swing speeds on putts may be slower but the margin for error is nearly none. MMT™ Putter Concept applies a new and improved metal mesh called SPEEDMESH – a MICRO 304 SS 75% lighter and thinner than original Metal Mesh for maximized pliability – to the full length of the shaft to minimize deflection, increase the shaft’s recovery rate and promote a fuller release, helping you to hold your line and hole more putts.
METAL MESH THROUGHOUT THE BAG 26
MMT™ Putter is perfect for any player who wants MMT™ throughout the bag or the added stability and consistency that comes from playing a uniquely reinforced composite putter shaft. Players report MMT™ Putter Concept creates a soft feel, and makes a putt struck with a milled putter face feel like it was struck with an insert.
ALL-NEW SPEEDMESH FOR CONTROL MMT™ Putter Concept applies a new metal mesh c alled SPEEDMESH — a 75% lighter and thinner MICRO 304 SS material — that allows metal mesh to be used the full length of the shaft. The lighter weight and thinner density of SPEEDMESH enables our engineers to increase the use of metal mesh to vastly improve the shaft’s pliability, minimize deflection, increase the shaft’s recovery rate and promote a fuller release.

CONTROL + CONFIDENCE IN EVERY SHOT 30
MMT™ Irons − MMT™ Irons utilize a patent-pending Metal Mesh Technology™ to redefine the possibilities for feel and performance in a composite iron shaft. A unique metal mesh is integrated into the shaft’s prepreg layers towards the tip. This improves density and stability, while also allowing for thinner overall composite wall construction. Together this yields a finely tuned, highly responsive shaft that provides the consistent launch and spin control needed for effective iron play. MMT™ UT − The MMT™ Utility Irons were designed specifically with the next generation of utility irons in mind. By incorporating our patent pending Metal Mesh Technology™ – individually braided strands of 304 Stainless Steel integrated into a shaft’s prepreg layers – we can construct shafts with thinner walls. MMT™ Scoring Wedge − The MMT™ Scoring Wedges were designed to provide uncompromising feel and spin from aggressive, full shots to the most delicate scoring shots around the green. Thinner walls improve responsiveness, and the combined strength of steel and carbon provide more consistent launch and spin.

OTi™ Irons − New for 2022 in a raw cosmetic, OT™ is designed for golfers seeking repetitive performance from their irons in a beautiful finished product. OT™ irons feature a 360° - unidirectionally balanced design that focuses on eliminating any gaps and inconsistencies that can arise with traditional sheet prepreg construction. This proprietary, symmetrical construction technique enables the golfer to more regularly hit launch windows as the shaft loads and deflects more consistently through impact. The “braiding” technology used in the OT™ Tow Prepreg is incredibly resistant to twisting and ovaling and creates a shaft with no spine, so the shaft performs more consistently than a shaft made with traditional sheet prepreg. The braiding also minimizes vibration, to provide the better feedback that’s so important for iron play.

Instead of being made with a traditional prepreg sheet, the OT™ Iron shaft employs a new material for golf shafts called Tow Prepreg that contains carbon fibers arranged in super-strong “bundles” -- much the way a steel cable is made. These bundles are impregnated with resin to create the Tow Prepreg, and then woven together like a braid.
