Tools of Protest
PLACARDS
Designer Saria Digregorio commission drew inspiration from the protest symbols and words from the thousands of responses gathered from workshops at the museum. She designed a collective of powerful protest placards using materials that reflect the makeshift placards of recent protests. Brown cardboard, black and white paint, with a pop of fluorescent pink tape gave the placards a strong vibrant coherent look. Harnessing the power of creative design to draw attention to the causes that are important to young people in Nottingham today.
