Bali is one of the 34 provinces of the Republic of Indonesia and has become the prime holiday destination in Indonesia as well as one of the major holiday destinations for international tourists. The island is located in the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, lying between Java to the west and Lombok to the east, and divided into 9 districts (8 regencies and 1 municipality) with population around four million people. Denpasar is the capital and most populous city of Bali. The vast majority of the Balinese people are Hindu so there are a significant number of temples on the island. Temple or Pura in Indonesian is the place for worship, and the biggest, most important and holiest temple in Bali is the Mother Temple of Besakih. Bali has a tropical climate all year with average temperature of 31 degrees Celsius and two different seasons. Dry season is between May and September with high humidity and wet season is between October and April with low humidity. From June to August, the weather is usually nice, breezy and cool. The main language is Indonesia, however being one of the most favourite holiday destinations in the world, not only many people speak English but also other foreign languages such as French, Japanese, Chinese, Germany.

Situated right next to Bali, Lombok unspoiled atmosphere of vintage tropical paradise might remind its visitors of Bali a couple decades ago. It is a developing tourism destination which proven by the recently-refurbished International Airport located in the city of Praya, serving regular flight to and from several cities of Java and the island of Bali, as well as neighboring countries of Malaysia and Singapore, the island also accessible by boat from Bali, Flores and Sumbawa. Lombok has a rich and enduring indigenous culture that has withstood the pressures of modernity remarkably well. 85% of the island inhabitants are composed by indigenous Sasak people whose origins are thought to have arisen from Java in the first millennium BC. Other residents include an estimated 10–15% Balinese, with the small remainder being Tionghoa-peranakan, Javanese, Sumbawanese and Arab Indonesians. Besides the widely-known spots of interest such as Senggigi Beach, Mount Rinjani and the Gili clusters, there are numerous fascinating underrated spots to see around the island, including Kuta Beach (not to be confused with the legendary one in Bali) on the Southern side, or the magnificent Tangsi Beach a.k.a ‘Pink beach’ at Eastern Lombok, named for the gorgeous pink sand covering its entire shoreline. In the central Lombok, you can opt to visit Selong Belanak beach, a secluded shoreline area with soft white-sand surrounded by lush greenery. With abundance natural and cultural wonders to relish, Lombok is a piece of admirable getaway for those who look for a relaxing tropical vacation.

stablished at close proximity of Berawa Beach, Canggu, Panama Kitchen & Pool wishes to remind its visitors of memorable summer vacation filled with feast, laughter and splashing fun under the sun. The restaurant pays homage to the vintage architecture through its Deco Art-styled building; the interior is dominated by white and blue colors that resonances perfectly with its vintage 50s retro-look swimming pool area. Check out their photogenic kitchen window just next to the entrance as a fine spot—especially for the social media aficionados, to snap a pic or two. ‘Panama’ in Latin literally means ‘abundance of fish and butterflies’, that’s why the menu here mainly consists of fresh and locally-caught seafood, smothered in tasty homemade sauces, but there are plenty other type of dishes to choose as well, from breakfast to dinner occasion.
For a day-starter, try their smashed avocado & salmon, which combines fresh salmon, poached egg, smashed avocado and hollandaise sauce on top of crunchy sour dough toast. Then for the dinner, you can order delicious grilled pork chop; which comes in generous portion and tasty creamy parmesan sauce on side. But one of Panama’s staple treats come in form of Hawaiian burger; a fine mix of 150gr beef patty, organic rucola, special homemade tangy sauce and a slice of grilled pineapple between delish bread rolls. With all the fine treat and glorious tropical vibe, Panama encourages guests to enjoy summer holiday in Indonesia, hence the tagline written on the entrance ‘Libur Musim Panas’.

ince it first opened the door back in 2015, Happy Chappy has become somewhat a staple Chinese restaurant in Seminyak hosting plentiful visitors each day who come not only because of the hype, but also the taste. The interior reminds a lot of Chinese industrial era, where they began to open for Western influence dominated by red color with golden tints, creating gorgeous rich details to dine with style. Being a ‘global Chinese cuisine’ restaurant, Happy Chappy gladly serves plethora of oriental menus; from the most vintage to gracefully modern presentation. Try some of their dim sum goodness; such as the classic xiao long bao or prawn har gao, which perfectly cooked to ensure the authentic flavor, or the fusion one such as wasabi-infused har gao with signature biting sensation of Japanese wasabi chili. For the main menu, one definitely can’t miss their peking duck; the ultimate classic dish hailing
from Beijing which has been served since the Imperial era. Unique aspect of this menu is you create your own from the ‘ingredients’ available on the table. Take the crispy brown duck skin and meat, combine it with spring onion, cucumber and sweet bean sauce in pancake dough, add some hoisin sauce, roll around the fillings and savor the succulent flavor.

KUTA
There are much already said and done about Kuta, but the fact is, this is the area that never sleeps. Kuta nowadays has changed quite significantly, for better than worst. The beach is cleaner, the road are mostly paved and it still maintains the original ambient even though many kind of places have been built from shop, resorts, restaurants, pub, bars, lounge to lifestyle hub. It remains a great place to visit.
