For Mixter Maxter's cahsmere collection, Vinya - meaning small project in old Norse, designer Kirsteen Stewart found inspiration in sea routes from Orkney around the world, from anciet past to present day.
The patterns used in the collection are based on imagery sourced through research of the sea, sea charts, shipping forecasts and shipwrecks.
