Good order situation Sachsenring Bike is looking for around 40 new employees –

Sangerhausen -The bicycle manufacturer Sachsenring Bike Manufaktur wants to increase its workforce. In the next few weeks, a second production line is to be opened in the factory on Kyselhäuser Strasse, said plant manager Matthias Herold of the MZ. This would require around 20 to 40 production workers in the region. This is responding to the good order situation, said Herold. "We are very happy with it."

In addition, the bicycle manufacturer wants to hire quality managers and get more knowledge the best bike us, product developers, shop managers as well as nationwide bicycle fitters for the field service. They are supposed to work in different regions of Germany. Their use is planned, among others, in the regions of Bamberg / Nürnberg, Augsburg, Stuttgart or Hamburg. Sachsenring has won large discount chains as customers Herold did not want to comment on specific customers of the plant. Sachsenring owner Stefan Zubcic had said a few days ago that the bicycle factory was initially working on orders for large German discount chains, which the company had won in recent weeks as a customer. They are for the most part those for whom the former Mifa was also active. In addition, the business with e-bikes should be expanded. Sachsenring was also able to win orders here. Herold said they did not just want to be dependent on one segment. According to the company, it is planned that up to 200,000 bicycles per year will leave the factory buildings on the old Mifa site in the center of Sangerhausen, where the company had returned last year. According to Herolds words, the bicycle factory currently employs about 145 people. This number should increase in perspective.

Investor Zubcic has taken over 130 Mifa employees Coburg-based investor Zubcic took over the business operations of the insolvent Mifa and the remaining 130 employees last July. Since 1 August the company operates as Sachsenring Bike Manufaktur. After a long period of short work, production has been resuming since the beginning of the year. Zubcic said then: "We start full pot."

In order to fill the jobs, Sachsenring also contacted former employees who had to leave the factory in the course of the Mifa bankruptcy. Many found new work through the transfer company. Herald said: Some are quite willing to think about returning. An ex-Mifa employee turned to the MZ via WhatsApp: He said it was funny. "First you get fired, then you should work there again." (Mz
