Industrial agriculture is the worlds 2rd largest polluter after the fuel industry. It is responsible for up to 18% of the worlds total greenhouse gas emissions. About 65% of this is methane and nitrous oxide mostly produced by cows.

What do we do about it? Community
Economic Beginning Farmer Incubator Food Roots Founder worked with POTB and other partners to build two hoop houses in spring 2019. These help provide growing spaces for beginning farmers by leasing affordable indoor and outdoor land.
CSA Shares Customers sign up for a box subscription box directly from farmers at the beginning of the growing season. This allows for farmers to have early income and consumers to develop a relationship with the people who grow their food.
Double Up Food Bucks This is a program that allows people using SNAPs to spend double their food stamps at farmers markets and other local food programs.
Wholesale and Distribution Serve a variety of food businesses, from co-ops and regional retail chains, to restaurants, food service providers and manufacturers. We offer wholesome, Organic food sourced locally through our farm direct ingredient sourcing.
