Mission Visions transcends traditional distribution standards by providing salons and spas with a total beauty experience, offering creative marketing, education and consultation to aid in the development of the beauty industry and providing professional cosmetologists/estheticians with the tools they need to better themselves and their businesses.

Headquarters

“What sets Visions apart in my mind is the intimate level of understanding of its customers needs and goals. The insight they have is a deep understanding of the customer...they’ve really helped me and truly been there.” Vincent Yook Hair Cosmopolitan – Massachusetts, New Hampshire, North Carolina

A 16,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility, Visions’ headquarters is home to the company’s core competencies – advanced training, quality control, salon relations and strategic management. In 2000, consistent with our corporate imaging campaign, we completed the first stages of remodeling the facility with new flooring, furniture and fixtures. We also added new studio lighting and created a café environment in our Visions Studio breakroom. In an effort to continue to raise our education standards, our training center was expanded to 3,500 square feet in 2001. With this expansion we launched the Visions Center for Beauty & Wellness providing advanced training in hair, skincare, cosmetics and spa treatments.

Te a m Vi s i o n s Our sales division consists of a team of Salon Visionaries who are strategically placed throughout Visions’ New England territory based on demographics/salon market potential. Our team is selected through an extensive pre-screening program and each employee must complete a comprehensive corporate training. This training process stresses the importance of salon consultation, professionalism, marketing analysis and logical positioning of products and brands. Our high standards have resulted in our company’s substantial growth through the last three years. In 2003, Visions altered its core philosophy and restructured its corporate headquarters to strengthen service through consultation and education. This change separates Visions from other distributorships, allowing personalized service to progressive salons and spas, business building programs, customized marketing, serious education and a full service line of products, ranging from the highest quality hair and skincare, to salon and spa furniture and equipment.

“Visions has been there for me from the very beginning...helping me set up the look of my salon with furniture from Belvedere. They’ve always been there as good friends with a great commitment to business education and staff support.” Paula McCarthy Paula’s Salon & Day Spa – Beverly, Massachusetts

Quality Vision A 16,000 square-foot warehouse space houses Visions’ complete inventory. Our Quality Vision team assures efficiency in inventory control, order assembly, space management and logistics of receiving large orders. This dynamic team packs and ships several hundred UPS packages per day while upholding quality standard. With new technology, our operations manager is able to accurately forecast and control inventory. In an effort to develop further efficiencies, Visions acquired another 8,000 square-foot warehouse facility located directly across the street from Visions’ current location. This will act as a fulfillment center, as well as the headquarters for DIBI New England, Visions’ division for Italy’s number one skincare line. This division allows Visions to diversify itself with a team focused specifically on the development of this new acquisition, as well as offering outstanding support for the development of spa business throughout New England and North America.

Customer Relations

"What has Visions done to help me? Business trips, merchandising assistance, professional products, and a really great sales consultant that really goes above and beyond what I've seen in the industry to really help me. I feel confident and comfortable with the relationship we've fostered over the years and look forward to many more." Frank Conti – Adesso Salons – Massachusetts & Connecticut

Visions believes that in such a competitive marketplace it is essential our customer relations division is superior to that of our competitors. In 1999, we made a corporate commitment to raise standards within this division by adding a Salon Relations Supervisor, investing into the most advanced software package the industry has to offer, and expanding the product knowledge of our representatives. Quality people combined with state-of-the-art technology have proven to be the answer in differentiating Visions from our competitors. This division continues to explore ways in which we can transcend the traditional customer/distribution relation. In 2003, in accordance with the spirit of its future philosophy of becoming more of a consultation entity for the beauty industry, Visions expanded its customer relations department. This extension of customer relations allows Visions to offer more personalized service to specialty customers, focusing more on their needs and marketing potential. These Customer Relations Consultants work with customers to offer incremental salon promotions, keep them apprised of new products, as well as target them for business building programs and education to further their growth.

VISIONS OF HOPE Charity Events

2001 In February 2001, Visions begins the expansion of its educational facility with a 1,500 squarefoot addition, as well as completely renovating the studio, thereby creating the Visions Center for Beauty & Wellness, our advanced training facility.

2003 2001 Visions further promotes itself as a full service distributor by acquiring five new product lines, offering a full encompassing menu of products for the salon and spa.

2002 In April 2002, Visions establishes a separate division to distribute and fulfill Italy’s number one skincare brand, DIBI.

In January 2003, Visions redirects its focus away from traditional selling techniques, realigning its core beliefs and personnel to focus on progressive salons, offering them direct consultation and the tools they need to grow their business. Visions also establishes an extension of the salon relations department that will focus directly on specialty customers, offering them direct phone contact and more personalized service, extending our commitment to customer satisfaction. Our core belief now is simple: total beauty consultation, sales, and education.

Every year, members of the Visions team join with Interlock's Salon & Day Spa, Newburyport, MA in the annual Walk Against Violence. The Interlocks and Visions Team raised over $13,000 last year and recruited over 100 walkers. In all, 800 people participated and proceeds of over $83,000 were raised. Funds from the event are used to provide free crisis intervention to victims of domestic violence.
