JOB DESCRIPTION The Exchange Participant (EP) will work in a group of maximum 5 EPs in one or several of Medellín’s 30 public libraries doing activities about entrepeneurship, immersion in the culture of their country of origin, language classes, innovation or enviromental care for, these activities will be public, mostly children but teenagers and adults may attend this activities as well. JOB 1 To prepare workshops, creativity activities, sports and games according to the objective of each subject. Activities must be according to the ages of the participants. JOB 2 Make a weekly planning of all the activities that will be taking place the following week, explained day by day under the supervision of the assigned project manager.

JOB 3 Deliver a weekly report that shows what main points and conclusion of the activities of the former week under the supervision of the assigned project manager. JOB 4 Attend the “Incoming Preparation Seminar (IPS)” on the date assigned by the Local Committee..

PREPARATION REQUIRED FROM THE INTERN BEFORE ARRIVAL - Have the confidente to work with a public of around 30 people. - You need to know the culture and social reality of your country, and study Colombian reality little. - Bring elements (or items) of your own culture such as Flags, candy, traditional objects, etc. - Bring a laptop

CONDITIONS Host family, hostel or trainees apartment. This is decided by the Local Committee. You can share room with other EPs. It’s possible to live in two different places during the internship.

AIESEC member will be waiting for you at the airport.

Working hours

4 per day. 5 days per week. Monday to Friday. 1 hour on Fridays to meet with AIESEC project team.

1.Scan of the main page of your Passport. 2.Scan or virtual copy of your International Health Insurance (Assist Card) that includes dates of the internship. 3.Scan or virtual copy of your Flight Tickets details where we can see the dates, number of the flight and name of the airline. 4.Copy of your Bank Statement with a minimum 600 USD or the amount in your currency. 5.Signed agreement with AIESEC in Colombia (Memodeal). Ask to luis.medina@aiesec.net about it. A. After you send us five previous documents, we will send you an Invitation letter that you have to show in airport migration. YOU CANNOT ENTER IN THE COUNTRY WITHOUT THIS LETTER. B. Then, they have to give a STAMP permanence permit PIP-6 or PIP-1. ANOTHER CAN’T BE ACCEPTED. If you allow another kind of stamp in your passport you must pay the change of migratory status with a cost of about $80.000 COP. C. Some countries need a formal VISA to go in to Colombia territory. You could check if your country is one of that in this document. (Download).
