School of dance & music in Cartagena Located in front of the Santo Domingo bastion, this building seeks to integrate harmoniously with the context. with an area of 5500 m2, the building seeks to be the stage for those who walk by the great wall and also for those users who walk at the street level. this is possible placing the dance and music rooms at the second floor following the bastion level. Also, in the first floor there is a cultural store, the art gallery, a multipurpose room and a theatre.
location
The project is located in front of the Santo Domingo bastion. Therefore, is necessary to provide public space and walkability by giving priority to pedestrians in the main roads
pedestrianization
The roads inside the walled city are distinguished for being narrow and they used to be only for pedestrians. Therefore, the masterplan tries to eliminate the vehicles circulation and bring back the features the city used to have.
vehicular circuit
The idea is to bring a specific route for vehicles and let pedestrians to walk around the city and also create a great connectivity between public spaces and parks

Chucho reyes museum the goal for this project was to design a museum dedicated to Chucho Reyes paintings but considering that the museum will be located next to one of the most emblematic residential projects from the pritzker award winner Luis Barragan.
site analysis
A residential building is actually set in the site of analysis. Also, the site is located next to Ortega house and barragan house both projects from the architect luis barragan. The project consists of a museum that contemplates the landscapes of those projects
The concept in this project tries to follow the interest of the architect Luis barragan to preserve privacy and secrecy on each of his projects. This feature is also part of Chucho Reyes life. Therefore, the landscape plays an important role to give a sensation that is the same garden as the one in Ortega house. the landscape envelopes the museum and provides of privacy from the main avenues next to the site. This will ive the users the sensation of a continuos landscape.

tucson by the numbers
The site has an area of 85,512 . and is located in the west of Tucson city. It is located in W Cushing street next to the Santa Cruz River. It is important to say that this area is close to the downtwon area of Tucson and about 1.5 miles from the University of Arizona. Also, the site is connected to the Sentinel Plaza Building and close to the Mercado District of Tucson opportunities 1. Proximity to Sun Link stop 2. Proximity to areas for new development 3. Direct connection to economic centers 4. Direct connection to major Tucson employer ( University of Arizona) constraints 1. Area of income inequality 2. Potential ooding area
The land use coding for the site is classified as General and Intensive Commercial ( C-2) allowing retail commercial with wholesale, nightclubs, bars, amusement enterprises permitted. Full range of automotive activities; sales, repair, leasing, etc. Limited manufacturing permitted. Residential uses permitted. It is important to say that a small area of the site is categorrized as light industrial, which permits for: -Residential -Agricultural -Civic -Recreational
The site is located near the Menlo Park neighborhood. This area is known for having one of the longest periods of occupation, dating back to the Spanish missionaries. Today, the neighborhood acts as a real timeline for architectural styles, such as: - Spanish Colonial Revival - Craftsman Bungalow - Prairie - Post-World War II Ranch - Mid-century Modern
The topographic and slope map clearly indicates that the sites has a minimum slope, which is between 1 and 2 %. Nevertheless, the site is located near the Santa Cruz River and that means that the site has a deep slope close to it, which will be important to consider in order to give access to the project and create a ramp for the bike line that is located across the river.
Pima County and the city of Tucson have developed proactive measures to preserve the Sonoran Desert Ecology. The naturally vegetated watercourses in Tucson have been classified under the Tucson Storm water Management Study (TSMS). This study looked at the correlation vegetative volume and wildlife habitats, resulting in the creation of four vegetative mass classifications. The project is located near the Santa Cruz River. This portion of the river is classified as Xeroriparian High, trees and shrubs are closely spaced. Most streams of the upper Santa Cruz basin are categorized as ephemeral streams, which are subject to extended dry periods. Flow in the streams occurs at times of significant rainfalls. Flooding of the Santa Cruz river has occurred when capacity have exceeded the peak flows/ discharge levels great than 60,000/ cfs (regulation) in September 1887 - December 1914 - October 1983
The project looks to offer a central patio taking as a reference the mexican houses where the patio is an important part of the house. Also, the building has being designed to be a circle in order to offer better views from the site and be accessible from any point
Tucson has being recognized by Time as one of the 5 Best Cities for Millennials in USA. 24% of Tucson population is made up of individuals 20 years old to 34 years old. Therefore, the O plaza complex tries to offer opportunities for those individuals looking for a place with opportunities, accessible amenities and an affordable housing market. The project consists of 4 leves: the first is the commercial area, the second floor is the parking area with a total of 120 parking lots, the 3rd and 4th floors are housing. The 3rd floor are studios only and the 4th flooor has 16 “2- bedroom units” and 16 “single bedroom units”. That makes a total amount of 80 housing units
Kaleidoscope park the masterplan in this project follows the “access for all philosophy which requires a new statement and a change of consciousness far away from the common ideas in architecture design It is important to know that spaces cannot be separated from its environment or the way they can be accessed. the experience of the user is always influenced by the space and viceversa. If the trip is diffcicult and painful, then the space will be perceived as inhospitable or, alternatively, as a place of refuge
The project is set in the olympic complex in Berlin , Germany. the project is focused on the access for all kind of people but specially in those with some type of disability. therefore, the main goal is to stimulate the senses specially sight and hearing creating kaleidoscope pavillions that reflects the environment. Also, the nuber of pavillions in the area are based on the deaths of the soldiers that participated in the Second World War. the soldiers came from 7 countries and the nationality of 8 of them are unknown. United kingdom: 2680 Canada: 527 Australia: 223 New Zealand: 56 Southafrica: 31 India: 50 Poland: 5 Unknown: 8 Total: 3580
Taking into account the history context, 8 pavillions are designing representing the number of soldiers involved in the war. Inside the pavillions an audiovisual exposition is proposed where the projects reflect images on the dodecahedra, serving as a kaleidoscope where the users will perceive distorted images with abstract figures that will pretend to stimulate the subconscient. On the other hand, the reflection in the mirrors with the exterior environment will produce a camouflage effect with the intention to play with the senses of the users.
