To whom it may concern:
I am writing this letter to strongly recommend María Luisa Marti Blanco for a future job.
Maria Luisa has worked with us at our Madrid office for almost a year. During these months she has worked as part of SENER´s Architecture and Urban Planning Department, mainly for International Projects.
During that time, Mrs. Marti has demonstrated a good work ethic and exceptional interpersonal skills. Together with the rest of the architectural team, she has successfully developed several projects on time and budget. Special mention can be made to the following projects where she has participated: •
Vitoria High Speed Train Station, Vitoria- Gasteiz (Spain)- Tender Design proposal
•
Alexandria Regional Metro, Abou Qir to Mirs Station (Egypt)- Tender Design proposal
•
New Shopping Center at Panamá Pacificó Area (Panamá)- Basic Design
•
Vertiports at transport stations, in the Innovation Group- Concept Design
María Luisa has the ability to organize and put into practice her architectural knowledge on any project that she is focused in. She is an extraordinary team worker and a very creative person.
During the time she worked with us, she was a graduate student in Madrid´s Polytechnic University, fulfilling simultaneously both, work and university studies, with integrity and success.
For all those reasons I would recommend Mrs. Marti for a position in your company.
Yours Sincerely:
Marisa de la Miyar Architecture and Urban Planning Discipline Manager

01. REINVENTING OR DYING In recent years, the exponential development of new consumption models has forced the shopping centre typology to reinvent itself or die. The shopping centre model has become obsolete and the abandonment of these gigantic infrastructures is becoming more and more common. Can we imagine a new way of using these obsolete buildings located in strategic points of the city?
Instead of a mono-functional building for commercial use, what if it could be adapted to the needs of the people who live nearby?

02. LOCATION OF SHOPPING MALLS IN MALAGA We are located in Malaga, the province with the largest commercial area in Spain. In this assessment, we will identify and analyse the different establishments in order to select the one with the highest risk of abandonment and deterioration. A total of 16 buildings are identified and assessed, and the area of influence of each is defined. The area of influence of a shopping centre is defined as the geographical region in which the centre has an impact on its inhabitants. This area has no fixed boundaries and can vary according to various factors such as accessibility or the demographics of the surrounding population.

3. THE INFLUENCE OF THE CORTE INGLÉS In the area of influence of the El Corte Ingles shopping centre, the land use of the affected area is analysed. Commercial, residential, public spaces, offices, industrial and green areas. This analysis will include the needs and demands of the citizens living in the area.

04. HUB CULTURAL The project aims to create a new identity for the city by taking advantage of the location of a disused building. The transformation of the shopping centre model will begin with the introduction of new programmes and activities to attract all types of users. In contrast to the private character of the mall, the proposal seeks to have more public spaces that meet the demands of contemporary society.

ALEXANDRIA REGIONAL METRO First international project: Transport Infrastructure Design and Development The project involved the careful design of five different station typologies. In a leadership role, I took responsibility for three of these typologies, where I was instrumental in shaping critical aspects such as traffic flow and spatial design. Using state-of-the-art tools such as Revit and applying the rigorous methodology of Building Information Modelling (BIM), our team meticulously crafted each typology to exacting standards, ensuring a harmonious blend of form and function. In a concerted effort to exceed our client’s expectations, we embarked on the design of a pioneering permeable façade. Leading the conceptualisation process, I contributed to the development of this innovative feature and was involved in various stages of conceptual design and visualisation to bring our vision to life.

VITORIA-GASTEIZ TRRAIN STATION First competition participation: Transport Infrastructure Design and Development I am delighted to share with you my participation in a prestigious competition focusing on transport design, which marks a significant milestone in my professional career. Our proposal emerged victorious, standing out among formidable engineering competitors from all over Spain. Collaboration and teamwork proved to be the cornerstone of our success, with seamless integration between different departments within our organisation. I played a key role in the conceptual design of the station roof, using my expertise in AutoCAD for meticulous plan preparation and Rhino to construct intricate 3D models. I also led the creation of compelling visualisations that played an integral role in our winning bid. This experience highlights not only my individual contributions, but also the power of collaborative efforts to achieve remarkable results on complex projects.
