Jennifer Borgioli Binis (she/her) is president of Schoolmarm Advisors, a freelance editing, fact-checking, and research service for education authors and publishers. A former middle school special education teacher and professional development provider, Jennifer facilitated large- and small-scale audit and design projects with and for schools, districts, and states. After almost twenty years of giving teachers words, she now helps teachers put their own words out into the world. She is published in gifted, special, and middle-level education and is a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association, the History of Education Society, and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD). Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in education from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Fredonia and her master’s degree from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University.
