Synopsis
By My Own Rules is a collection of glimpses from my past. At the age of 71, I see it as an opportunity to remember those adventurous and intense moments
It is my mother, father and Bhagwan that I have learned from in my life. This trio has prepared me to accept life as it comes They have developed in me the concept of being there and living in the moment They have given me the understanding to complete the cirecle of my life by my own rules.
Although the book covers a lot about my profession, I have also spoken about my experience and feelings.
Over the last three decades, I have taught myself the ropes of my profession. I've learned on the job, worked closely with the residents with diverse conditions including dementia The differnet systems, themes and dealing from my work in this book are 100 per cent my experiences and obserations. Theese are no prelearned theories They wre all real-life situations
For this treaure trove of learning, I am grateful to my residents. Their trust in me reminded me that simply being there for them was the ultimate solution
