SYNOPSIS The discussion organized by the MMA Women Business Forum aims to explore the multifaceted journey of women in overcoming stereotypes and limitations while celebrating their unique strengths. The Speakers will share their inspiring stories, experiences, and insights on how they've shattered societal stereotypes, pushed through limitations, and harnessed their strengths to reach their full potential. It's a platform for empowerment, fostering a sense of unity and resilience among women in their various endeavours, be it in the world of business, sports, education, or any other domain. Through this discussion, we will celebrate the unstoppable spirit of women and provide a space for them to showcase their remarkable achievements and the valuable lessons they've learned on their journey.

Raised in an atmosphere where culture, languages, education, discipline and service to others was a way of life. Dr. Prithika Chary is a Senior Consultant Neurologist Since 1978. She is the first and only lady in India to be qualified and practicing as both Neurophysician and Neurosurgeon. Initiated comprehensive services for epilepsy in Chennai in 1994 by starting EPICENTRE (Epilepsy Institute & Centre for Treatment, Training, Research & Education). Introduced the first video EEG service in the private sector in the whole of South India in 1994. She is a Consultant Neurosurgeon (Chennai) as well since 1990 and continuing. She served in Tamilnadu government service in Madras Medical College from 1974-1982. Worked for 28 years in Apollo hospitals Chennai from its inception in 1983 till 2012. Attached to Kauvery hospital Chennai from 2012 to date.

Active in various social and cultural organizations and a member of several professional bodies, both National and International. Through NGOs like the Rotary Club of Madras Temple City, the Madras Management Association, the Inter Cultural Women’s Association, etc and on her own she has created several awards and is involved in social causes in the community, especially those empowering and enabling girl children, women, the less abled and the economically underprivileged.

She is one of the First Doctorates in Educational Psychology in India. ·Consultant Educational Psychologist, Chief Mentor The POLO Research ·Independent Expert - Ministry of Women and Child Development , Govt Of India ·Brand Ambassador – International Student Exchange Programmes to many countries. ·Independent Expert for many schools, colleges, Ministry of Women and child Development, Tamilnadu Police Dept and Samagra Shiksha (Dept of School Education) ·Former Member of Tamilnadu Commission for Protection of Child Rights. Appreciated by many as the flag bearer of POCSO awareness and “Children on digital media” awareness. ·Member, International Advisory Committee to American International Association for Accreditation of Schools and Colleges. ·Visiting faculty at many universities. ·Private Psychological Well-Being Practitioner specialized in children and adolescent psychology. ·Keynote speaker at many national and international conferences and workshops on psychology ·Motivational speaker at Schools , colleges and public events. She has conducted sessions on various topics of importance to kids, adolescents and parenting in the name “Raksha” in more than 1200 schools in TamilNadu addressing parents, teachers and students on child abuse, safety, family, schooling, parenting, resilience and career guidance. ·Her articles and videos are frequently published in top magazines, newspapers, TV and YouTube channels.
Vidhya Srinivasan is a branding professional and grassroots volunteer for good causes . She has always been involved in community service actively from her school days . Currently she works as CMO of for an IT product and Services startup - Tristha Global Pvt Ltd and also runs her consulting firm Sarara helping SMEs find impactful Branding solutions. Qualified in Law and ManagementUniversity.

Professionally she has 3 decades of learning in Image Management and Brand Building Strategy & Implementation,Training and mentoring . She is also popular as a visiting faculty in MBA schools on the subject of Integrated marketing communication and strategy . Her goal is to use all this experience to make a difference to the society especially the less privileged.
Swetha is an Award-Winning Social Reformer and writer. She is the Founder - Director & CEO of Born2Win Social Welfare Trust, an organization for the empowerment of Transgender people. Through this welfare trust, she has successfully arranged for employment opportunities and secured funds for education, vocational training for many Trans* people. She holds an MA in Sociology, a BA in Public Administration, and a Diploma in Counseling. She holds almost a decade of experience in working on HIV/AIDS projects in India with regional, national, and international NGOs. Swetha has spearheaded several projects successfully in her continuing tenure as Programme Manager. She is also India’s first trans woman consultant for the HIV Projects in the entire South Region.

She has experience as a Master Trainer in NACO/TISS/TANSACS and led initiatives in cities across various states of Southern India. The training has comprised of HIV AIDS and MSM/TG/FSW/IDU Awareness and also capacity Building Specialised for Tamilnadu Health work Counselor, and advocacy relating to Transgender issues. Being a Transgender woman, despite everyday struggles faced by her, she quotes "I spot more than one beacon of hope all around me. It’s towards them I hope the beneficiaries of this trust will walk and farewell."
