NITIN CHOPRA Nitin Chopra is an engineer from IIT, Kanpur and an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad. He brings with him 31 years of rich experience in the corporate world, of which the last 23 years have been in the financial services industry.
In his present assignment as Head – Consumer and Retail Banking at RBL Bank, Nitin is part of a core team leading transformation at the Bank. Chopra started his career with the Unilever Group, before moving on to Bank of America NT & SA where he spent 9 years in different capacities. Post the regional sale of Bank of America’s retail business to ABN AMRO Bank, he went on to head the consumer banking business at ABN AMRO Bank from July 1999 to May 2006. Chopra was instrumental behind several ‘firsts’ in the Indian retail banking industry including introducing 365 extended banking & doorstep banking. He played a significant role in conceptualizing best practices in the Bancassurance business in India thus enabling the Bank to achieve a leadership position as a Wealth Manager. Chopra joined Bharti AXA Life Insurance (BAL) as CEO, a private life joint venture between Bharti Enterprises and AXA. He steered BAL through a rapid phase of growth (CAGR of over 100%) in an environment that has been sluggish for the sector.
NEERAJ SWAROOP Prof. Neeraj Swaroop is currently a faculty of SPJIMR, in the Areas of Finance and Marketing. Prior to joining SPJIMR, he has spent over 35 years in industry, across Banking and Manufacturing (FMCG) companies. His last role was that of Regional CEO for South East Asia for Standard Chartered Bank. Currently he continues to be engaged with the industry through Non Executive and Advisory roles.

Swaroop holds an MBA degree from India’s premier business school, the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
ASHWINI JAIN Financial Inclusion and Financial Literacy practitioner and have been working in this area for over 3 years. Launched financial loans at the bottom of the pyramid, right upto the segments not served by regular banking channels as also savings, pension and digital transaction products for this segment. Previously a Consumer Banker, with over 25 years international experience across India, Dubai, Indonesia and Vietnam. Have worked in both, multinational and local banks, in Bank of America, ABN Amro Bank, Mashreq Bank, Citibank and Vietnam Prosperity Bank.
