Satyakam Arya took on the role of leading Daimler Trucks operations in India at the end of November 2018 with his appointment as Managing Director & CEO of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV). Under his stewardship, DICV continues to grow as a contender in the domestic market with the made-for-India CV brand ‘BharatBenz’. At the same time, Satyakam has aggressively expanded export operations of other Daimler Truck brands including Mercedes-Benz, FUSO and Freightliner in over 50 markets worldwide. In his last role, Satyakam worked as Chairman of the Board for PABCO Ltd, a subsidiary of Japan-based commercial vehicle manufacturer Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC). There he was instrumental in increasing PABCO’s sales revenue and production capacity, resulting in an EBIT increase of 90%. At the same time, Satyakam headed Customer Services for Daimler Trucks Asia, the umbrella organisation under which DICV and MFTBC operate as separate legal entities. In his role as Head of Customer Services, he managed CS revenue of 2 billion US dollars. Since he began working at Daimler in 2009, Satyakam has excelled in a number of executive leadership roles at various departments across Daimler Trucks Asia including Global Procurement, Purchasing & Supply Chain and Powertrain & Chassis Procurement. Mr. R Senguttuvan (Sengu) is the Chief Executive of the Packaging and Printing Business of ITC Limited. A Mechanical Engineer from PSG Tech – Coimbatore with PGDM from IIM Bangalore, he joined the Procurement function of ITC in 1991 as Assistant Manager. He was the Head of Tiruvottiyur Plant and Vice President of the Packaging & Printing Business before becoming the Chief Executive. Sengu is a member of the Governing Body of Indian Institute of Packaging and also serves on the Committees of Indian Flexibles & Carton Manufacturers’ Association (IFCA), International Packaging Group (IPG) and International Flexible Packaging Network (IFPN) – IPG and IFPN being international associations of Folding box manufacturers and Flexible packaging manufacturers respectively.
