FOUNTAINHEAD OF EXCELLENCE
SYNOPSIS Like many women, I was brought up to appreciate and seek the comfort of a protective environment around me. Family, Extended Family, friends, Elders in the community, Senior colleagues, Mentors to name a few. Many decisions we make end up being influenced by opinions. Specifically on careers, which is what I will focus on today. It starts with a question to ourselves- Do we really own our journey? Owning our business or professional journeys are driven by some key factors, in my experience. Clear vision of our North Star. High degree of competence in our field of work. Find our Voice. Face our vulnerabilities. Celebrate our milestones. It takes grit, determination and passion to own our paths. Because owning our paths mean owning our lives.
