As judicial systems worldwide grapple with an increasing backlog and complex caseloads, the digital transformation of courts has emerged as a crucial solution. The Kerala High Court has been a pioneer in India, embracing technology to streamline case management, enhance transparency, and improve access to justice. We are honored to welcome Justice Mustaque to share his insights on Kerala's groundbreaking 24x7 ON Courts initiative. Justice A. Mohamed Mustque’s lecture on “'Discourses on Digitization on court': Experiences from Kerala” will provide insights into Kerala’s journey, achievements, and the ongoing challenges within the scope of digital innovation in the judiciary.
Objective of the Lecture
The primary aim of this lecture is to explore Kerala’s unique approach to court digitization, highlighting both successes and lessons learned. The session will provide a platform to: Understand Kerala’s strategies and initiatives in digitizing court processes,

After completing his undergraduate studies, Justice A. Muhamed Mustaque pursued several advanced academic qualifications that significantly enriched his expertise in law. He earned a Master II in Space and Telecommunication Law from Paris XI University and an LLM from Mahatma Gandhi University, deepening his knowledge in specialized areas. Additionally, he undertook Complex Civil Litigation training under the International Bar Association, and Mediation & Negotiation training with Jonathan Dingle, Director of the European Training Team in the U.K. Furthering his international credentials, he completed a Certificate Course in Electronic Commerce and Intellectual Property at WIPO, Geneva, and received training in Mediation under the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee of the Supreme Court of India (MCPC). His studies also included a course on Private International Law at the Hague Academy of International Law in the Netherlands. These accomplishments highlight Justice Mustaque's commitment to continuous learning in areas such as international law, mediation, and complex litigation, contributing to his distinguished legal career.
