IMPLEMENTING FOREIGN TRADE POLICY 2023
The Platform
The Foreign Trade Policy 2023, effective from 1st April shifted focus from incentives to a remission and entitlement-based regime, to remain compliant with WTO guidelines. The new policy focuses on greater trade facilitation through technology and automation aiming to boost the country’s exports to USD 2 trillion by 2030.
Against this backdrop, we are happy to inform you that FIEO jointly with the O/o. Zonal Addl. DGFT, Chennai & Madras Management Association is organizing an interactive Session on FTP 2023 as per details given below.
The session will be addressed by Shri. Subhash Chandra Agarwal, IRS, Addl. DGFT, HQ, Smt. Rajalakshmi Devaraj, IDAS, Zonal Addl. DGFT, Chennai and other senior officials from the office of DGFT. Apart from the presentation on changes made in Foreign Trade Policy, a session on procedure for availing the Amnesty Scheme announced for closing EPCG /AA Scheme also will be held during the seminar.
