U Dinesh Kumar
Mr Dinesh is a Professor of Decision Sciences and Information Systems at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. His main research and teaching interest are Business Analytics and Systems Engineering. He is Course director of the Business Analytics and Intelligence Executive Education Programme conducted by IIM Bangalore.
He carried out consultancy projects for organizations such as the Boston Consulting Group (India) Private Limited, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Indian Army, Wipro India Limited, World Health Organization in the Analytics Domain.
He published 25 case studies at the Harvard Business Publishing on the use of predictive and prescriptive analytics by the Indian companies multi-national organizations such as Apollo Hospitals, Bigbasket.com, Bollywood, Flipkart, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Hewlett Packard, Indian Premier League, Larsen and Toubro, Madurai Aavin milk Dairy, Mission Hospital, VMWare etc. He is Author of more than 70 research articles and 2 books.
