TWO-STOREY HOUSE SCALED MODEL
oeuvre (n ) works of
A gallery is an assemblage of different art piece that creates and define an artist‘s lifetime work This art piece comes together as a whole to tell stories that cannot be translated into words.
The following collection of works being presented here is the accumulated artworks I made throughout the whole semester of Visual Techniques 3. With the application of different mediums and techniques, this gallery showcases the artist’s versatility and skills
It has been my great pleasure in putting this portfolio together I believe that it is not purely the finished product, but also the thoughts that were able to glide throughout the work process I hope you enjoy this excursion into my small exhibit

Dissolved Ink Rendering 01
The latter piece was hand-drawn on cold press paper with soluble black ink The process of doing this kind of work is very familiar but the medium used is completely new and challenging as it tends to dry faster than a watercolor This artwork gave me a better knowledge on controlling the amount of water when using a wet media
Ballpoint-Pen Rendering 02
This plate has one of the most tranquil process yet very detailed The technique of single stroke used in this artwork is one of my comfort style thus, I certainly enjoyed the art process This activity also amplified my skills in freehand rendering via modulating every stroke density applied in the paper

Texture Gallery 03
This artwork appears simple at first glance, but it has a more complicated procedure than I anticipated The most challenging part in this plate is making the texture visible and real at the same time without using a normal brush Random materials that can be acquired in my home are used to create texture in this watercolor painting such as cotton balls, silk screen, toothbrush and more.

Using only one color, the painting of this Philippine built heritage structure is much more interesting than any other artwork as the chosen medium is coffee bean powder The tone of brown lends the chosen reference a nostalgic feel that matches its original stye, an Art deco architecture With this kind of piece, I had an in-depth study of shadowing and layering in wet media
Opaque Rendering (Rendering Colors) 05
The medium used in this project, poster paint, is more difficult to paint in layers compared to other mediums such as acrylic The problem I encountered in the work process is the control of the paint, especially in linear and edgy parts of the reference On a positive note, I was able to examine light and color when it comes to producing a night scene
Color Pencil Presentation 06
Another output that uses single stroke style, this art piece requires more time in rendering as the stroke of each color must mingle flawlessly What I admire the most about this piece is the result texture, which adds interest to the overall composition
Alcohol Markers Presentation 07
The image chosen as a reference is a daytime urban street scene depicting the Tokyo Shibuya crowd During the creation of this piece, I discovered that colored alcohol-based markers are the perfect medium for blending colors

2-Storey House Scale Model 07
This project aims to create an expressive exterior design while translating the 2- story contemporary house into a 1:50 scale The only material used in this project is a white folder and acetate paper With this model, I was able to focus more on detailing, visualizing how light will illuminate space, and lastly, analyzing the best form This experience might affect me a lot and could lead me to reflect upon some basic- but relevant- aspects of being an architecture student
