On Friday, 22nd of April, Fitzwilliam college opened its doors to a big celebration of Saint George (Sant Jordi in Catalan) which started with a literary act in which Catalan students and other Catalan speakers living in Cambridge read poems, extracts of novels and short stories. Afterwards we had a book exchange event in which the attendants brought one of their favourite books to be exchanged during the evening. We also gave out Catalan books donated by the University of Alacant in Spain.
