• always close microwave after using it

• when putting dirty dishes in the sink, throw away all of the food on them first, then put them in the sink. never leave dirty dishes outside of the sink

• all dirty dishes go on the right side of the sink

• always put water on/in dishes when putting them in the sink so that food doesn’t dry and they are easier to wash

• please wash all of your meat dishes stinky >:(

• put leftovers away in the fridge after cooking. if they need to cool, try to put them away before the end of the night so that the food doesn’t go bad

• when putting away left overs, try to put them in tupperware- try not to leave them in the pot that you cooked with

• the sink does not need to be washed every time you wash dishes. use your judgement- when it’s dirty, just scrub it down please

1. gather all dishes from around the kitchen before washing the dishes and put them in the sink

2. gather all dishes from around the bedroom before washing the dishes and put them in the sink

3. wash dishes with hot water

4. stack all dishes in a stable way- ex. big bowls on top of small bowls; cups faced downward so the water can drip

5. wash the sink with the scrubber under the sink, and soap

6. finally, make sure everything is back where it should be. soap on left side of faucet, sponge on right side of faucet, gloves on left hand of sink, and sink cleaner sponge in the under sink cabinet
