Recognizing the need for their brand to stand out in a competitive marketplace, the client partnered with us on a refresh project. In this project, I proposed adding a logogram to Paloma using the existing letters in the Paloma name. Specifically, I used the letter “P” to create a visual emphasis and abbreviation for the brand.

The resulting refined logo now stands as Paloma s main emblem, encapsulating the brand s timeless essence. The logo’s design itself subtly hints at Paloma’s heritage of quality and craftsmanship. While the proud inscription of ’Italy’ speaks volumes about Paloma’s heritage.

Established in 1996, Paloma reigns as the building hardware leader, specializing in architectural and sanitary solutions. We partnered to re - branding their visual identity, implemented across showrooms and collaterals. The modern, bold redesign, featuring clean tone. Reinforces Paloma ’s premium image and commitment to innovation.

In order to distinguish Paloma’s two product categories, Sanitary Hardware and Architectural Hardware, I recommended a brand architecture model that utilizes a single master brand system with sub-brands distinguished by additional descriptors.

This approach ensures brand recognition while offering clear differentiation between the product lines. The system is implemented through the logo design, where the sub-brand descriptors are positioned below the Paloma logotype.

We created a logogram based on the letter ‘P’. This letter was chosen because it is easy to remember and aligns with Paloma’s brand values .

In search of a visually simple and memorable logogram that embodied the company’s brand values, we explored diverse variations of the letter P as a monogram. After all, we selected a minimalist P design, crafted for elegance and instant recognition. After several options were selected, we carefully paired the logogram with the revised logotype to create a cohesive and visually appealing design.

Paloma aims to integrate three core brand values into its latest branding: High Quality as a representation of 25 years of craftsmanship, Thoughtful Innovation, and Worth to Value.

In this project, I significantly contributed to Paloma’s brand identity by designing a variety of collateral materials, including stationery, website, posters, presentation decks, invoices, signage, and product name plates.

To ensure these elements reflected Paloma’s core values, I focused on creating a sense of

“Thoughtful Innovation ”. This concept is visually communicated through designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.

To differentiate between architectural hardware and sanitary hardware products, I proposed a color-coding system. Architectural products would utilize black, while sanitary products would be identified by gray. This color-coding system could be implemented across various collateral materials, particularly price tags in showrooms, to enhance product distinction at a glance.

Architectural Sanitary

In designing the Paloma website, I created a set of distinct icons for the architectural hardware and sanitary hardware product category pages. These icons were designed with future expandability in mind, allowing them to be adapted and utilized across various collateral materials.

This versatility means the icons can seamlessly integrate into marketing materials, product packaging, and even enhance the visual experience within showrooms.

PV Resort

(Pierre et Vacances)

Pierre et Vacances is a European company that specializes in managing holiday accommodations across various destinations. We’re working with Pierre et Vacances to create a visual identity for their products, including PV Resort, as part of their expansion plan in China. We are creating a visual identity that can be applied across a wide range of collateral.

The primary challenge in this project was establishing an appropriate visual identity for a resort complex that would resonate with families and children. Following extensive research, I proposed utilizing sunray and ribbon motifs as simplified symbols representing the warmth and connection within families. Building upon the fusion of ribbon and sunray motifs, I incorporated this concept into a visual identity, as depicted in the image below. Furthermore, I proposed a warm color palette to enhance the sense of warmth associated with the PV Resort brand, aligning it with its target audience of families and children.

The super graphic is made from two key elements: the PV logo and a sun ray shape. By combining them, we created a unique look for PV Resort’s visual identity. It’s fluid, fun, and warm.

In crafting PV Resort’s visual identity, I ensured its versatility across various collateral materials. This includes stationery, uniform equipment, hospitality kits, marketing collateral, poster designs, packaging designs, and presentation decks. To empower their in-house team, I additionally developed a visual identity template. This template allows them to easily edit existing materials and even create new collateral pieces that seamlessly align with the overall brand identity in the future.

To attract an audience, the client needs tools to promote PV Resort. I proposed several items for marketing purposes, such as print media like brochures and vertical banners for public spaces. PV Resort has programs held within the resort area. Therefore, I proposed several items that can be used to support these programs, namely activity itineraries that can be done for both children and families, and flyer designs for programs organized by PV Resort.

In addition, I also created several items that can be used to support the enjoyment of children during their time at the resort, such as birthday cake packaging with birthday cards for children who are celebrating their birthday, as well as packaging for sweet snacks for children.

To enrich the family experience, I created various marketing materials featuring warm - toned visual identities and expressive, joy-filled photographs.

These materials serve as guides for activities and itineraries suitable for both children and parents, ensuring a delightful stay for everyone.

In addition to catering to the needs of children and families, PV Resort also aspires to be a venue for couples seeking to start new families.

Therefore, I created several items to support the “wedding dream” taking place within PV Resort.

These items include wedding package brochures, guest guidebooks for weddings and restaurants, dining utensils, tote bags, and other related marketing materials.

The brand attitude encourages guests to adopt a “Nearby Explorer” mindset, prompting them to venture out and discover the charm of their surroundings.

The template now incorporates visual identity elements, offering a cohesive guide for presentations.

Romano Gelato

Romano Gelato is a brand that aims to highlight the authentic flavors of traditional Italian gelato. We created the brand identity from scratch, and for this project, our focus will shift towards the development of key visuals for Romano Gelato.

From the outset, the client envisioned Romano Gelato as a gelato brand with an authentic Italian flavor profile. This stemmed from the owners Italian heritage and their desire to preserve the legacy of gelato craftsmanship passed down through generations.

During the research phase, I proposed a concept that captures the essence of Italian lifestyle. This concept aims to transport to a moment of Italian leisure, allowing for unwinding and savoring the experience.

In crafting Romano Gelato’s brand identity, I drew inspiration from the captivating architecture of Italian tourist destinations, particularly the Italian Riviera. This inspiration seamlessly translated into the vibrant color palette that adorns Romano Gelato’s packaging.

For the supergraphic, I employed a simplified motif derived from Italian ceramic tiles, which is then applied as an eye-catching pattern.

Romano Gelato’s brand identity encompasses packaging, posters, menus, and more. Menus come in multiple formats to cater to different customer preferences. Printed menus offer a classic, tactile experience, showcasing the brand’s colors and design elements. To expand the reach and accessibility of the menu, I suggested also implementing digital menus.

Whitelab

Whitelab is one of the most renowned skincare brands. We aims to enhance the storytelling and theme with a focused tone. Consider incorporating new design elements in the packaging to create a distinct personality. This objective is pursued through an adaptation of the packaging design in accordance with the brand’s latest mission and positioning.

In this case, the client aims to shift their brand positioning towards a Modern Lab Style, combining a Medium Hightech vibe with a Scientific Laboratory feel.

To improve its market positioning, Whitelab has decided to update its packaging. The client feels that the current packaging doesnt stand out well among other brands when displayed on shelves, and many consumers struggle to distinguish between series due to the dominant white color in the existing packaging. Therefore, the client wants to introduce a color ratio in the layout of the new packaging as a way to differentiate between series and set itself apart from other brands.

In the latest iteration of Whitelab’s packaging, I evolved the hexagon pattern into an embodiment hexagon, incorporating the initials of the three primary ingredients. To further enhance product differentiation across various series, I introduced a systematic color scheme applicable to the entire product line.

Hexagon gets bigger, inspired by molecules

Through the packaging redesign, I developed a cohesive and detailed packaging guidebook, seamlessly incorporating every graphic design element and variant categorization system.

This clear and well - organized set of guidelines will ensure the in - house team maintains consistency across upcoming product development initiatives.

Mane Fragrance

Mane, a world-renowned fragrance and flavor manufacturer headquartered in France, is celebrating a momentous occasion –their 150th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, Mane is collaborating with Altavia on a co-branding project. Our goal is to design a commemorative gift box set for their 150th anniversary.

To differentiate the box packaging based on the recipient, I propose creating two types of gift boxes: a standard box and a VIP box. The standard box will include a single perfume, while the VIP version will elevate the experience by including both the perfume and a luxurious candle. We envision a simple yet premium design, utilizing a blue and white color palette that reflects Mane’s sophisticated brand identity.

ART DIRECTOR Agustinus Michelle Timothy Swardi

To further strengthen the visual impact, i propose incorporating a silhouette of the Mane building as a design element inside the VIP box.

One Dimsum

One Dimsum, a dim sum restaurant established in 1952 and located in Hong Kong, is looking to relocate and create new packaging. This shift aims to broaden their brand concept to encompass both dine-in and grab-and-go options. To enhance the storytelling, incorporating new design elements in the packaging can help create a distinct personality that sets them apart from other dim sum restaurants.

Initially, the client desired packaging that was both visually appealing and functional. To address this, I proposed two types of packaging: takeaway packaging for single items and takeaway packaging for multiple purchases. The design reflects One Dimsum’s brand story with a Hong Kong map that unites people through dimsum.

The

visual identity on

the packaging

is derived from a silhouette of the Hong Kong map with the inclusion of the names of Hong Kong streets.
