Multi-functional space for office, product showcase, training, plus communal socializing
What
The client's focus for the space is to reflect the company's creativity and charactor. The office also needs to be functional, and provide a comfortable, efficient working enviroment to boost productivity and collabration. The showroom should be able to accomodate both core product lines and seasonal collections. The space is an efficient venue for in-house photoshoots to avoid logistic issues with offsite locations, as well it offers a space for training sessions and other commercial activities. Nested in a dynamic and hybrid neighborhood in Vancouver, the office space is shared during weekends and holidays with the community.

They are converting the 3 barns into a vacation home they can retire to.
What
Their tastes are contemporary and minimalist. They want an open concept home that is functional and comfortable. They want the spaces to flow from one to the other. They want to take advantage of the water view from the west side of the lot. They also want to incorporate nature into their home through colour and finishes. They entertain a great deal and expect to have lots of friends stay with them. They have 2 grown daughters (24,28). The oldest is married and pregnant. Both daughters live and work in Vancouver.

Gateway to establish B&O's business and brand presence in North America
What
A high-end luxury Danish consumer electronics company, Bang & Olufsen (B&O) specializes in design and distribution of sophisticated audio lines, television sets, and telephones. For further expansion into North America, B&O is slated to launch its flagship store in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The design of this crisp new enviroment aims to enhance the B&O brand awareness, which will lead to brand preference and loyalty among target customers. The store is not only a venue to showcase B&O’s latest premium collections, but also a hub of art communities, where droves of musicians, artists, fashion trend setters and social activists are engaged. Using the harmony of B&O’s Scandinavian design, the store is set in modern and simplistic tones. The communal section of the space is blended with minimalism and environmentalism to provide a trendy sustainable space.
