Cattail Creations Try your hand at twisting and rolling your own cattail cordage from fibrous cattail leaves. Weave cattail leaves into a community cattail mat. Look closely at fluffy-seeded cattails and find out what special adaptations they have for surviving in standing water.

Winter Wonderland Discover which plants you can grow to provide winter food and shelter for wildlife. Create a nourishing natural seed ornament to feed the birds outside your window.

Basil, King of Herbs Refresh your senses and bolster your immune system with basil, the antiviral, aromatic king of herbs. Sample a flavorful basil recipe and gather ideas for how to use basil in your kitchen. Create, decorate, and plant a pot of basil to take home and enjoy.
