Sponsorship Opportunity Minnesota Premiere of International Artist-Bruce Munro: Winter Light at the Arboretum The first-ever large-scale outdoor light installation at the Minnesota landscape Arboretum will illuminate the winter landscape after-hours, opening Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016. A series of six light installations, three exclusive to the Arboretum exhibit in the U.S., features thousands of radiant lights, illuminating fiber optics, acrylic pegs and prismatic rods alongside the monumental art structures. Some
incorporate pulsating animations in a range of colors or sounds to create a unique and powerful visitor experience.
The ticketed after hours exhibit will be open to guests Thursdays thru Sundays. A variety of special events including family-oriented tours and group tours are available Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the run of the exhibit. Advance ticket sales will start in August. The exhibit continues through Sunday , April 9, 2017.
Acclaimed British artist Bruce Munro’s brilliant installations reflect his talent to distill moments of personal connection with landscape and spaces,interpreting them in art that engages viewers emotionally.
