Meizu m5 Note Set to Launch on December 6

Meizu is all set to launch the m5 Note smartphone as the company has started sending out invites for the launch of its latest mobile in China. The previous rumors hinted the launch of m5 Note on November 30; however, the company has now released a teaser indicating an event on December 6 in China, where the new smartphone will get launched. In its teaser, Meizu mobiles has claimed that it has produced 20 million smartphone units under its Note series until now. The invites also mentioned the production of Meizu m3 Note smartphone with over 20 million units so far. The teaser was been spotted by Gizmochina which hinted what the upcoming mobile will appear. The teaser also revealed that the company is going to halt the production of m3 Note in favor of m5 Note. According to a BGR India report, the upcoming mobile is expected to get offered in three variants- M621Q with a 4000mAh battery, M621M with a 3920mAh battery and M621C variant with a 3290mAh battery. The three variants were listed earlier on TENNA certification and the listing has confirmed that the smartphone will be launched with a 5.5-inch display. It will measure dimensions at 153×75.8×8.15mm and weighs 175 grams. The Meizu m5 Note is the successor to the previous m3 Note smartphone which was launched prior this year. No information about the pricing of the upcoming mobile is received yet. The Meizu m5 Note was recently spotted on AnTuTu and Geekbench which has revealed some to the key specifications of the smartphone

Meizu m5 Note Specifications According to several reports, the Meizu m5 Note smartphone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The Smartphone will receive acceleration from a MediaTek


Helio P10 octa-core processor clocked at 1GHz. The device will be offered in three variants- 2GB RAM + 16GBinternal storage, 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage.

On the camera front, the Meizu m5 Note will offer a 13MP primary rear camera with LED flash, full HD (1080p) video recording, and autofocus. On the front, it has a 5MP selfie snapper. The device will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Flyme OS on its top. To recall, the Meizu m3 Note smartphone was launched earlier this year with a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. The device offers a 13MP primary rear camera alongside a 5MP selfie shooter. The smartphone include connectivity options like dual-SIM, 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS wrapped under Flyme OS 5.1. Besides the m5 Note, Meizu is also expected to launch its first bezel-less smartphone called as Meizu Pro 7. It is a Meizu’s take on Xiaomi’s Mi Mix smartphone. It will feature a 5.62-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display which will be very close to 100 percent screen-to-body ratio. The Meizu Pro 7 is expected to get featured with company’s mCharge 4.0 fast chargingtechnology.
