As Chynna adds, “I like figuring out personality types and then helping them get what they need … developing relationships for the long run. It’s about how our clients like to work with us. We can make it work and adapt to what their preferences are in our work with them.”

In fact, Lynne started her journey in the business more than 20 years ago. She started Lynne Ernest Insurance nearly four years ago.

It wasn’t long before Chynna joined her mother in the business.

After majoring in business with an emphasis on marketing in college, Chynna went on to work with an insurance company in Georgia. In time, she and Lynne joined forces.

Labor of Love

Working together is a labor of love for the two ladies.

“It works very well for us to team up because we each do something different. Chynna is more focused on insurance for homes here in Baldwin County,” Lynne says.

“I focus more on contractors, long-haul trucking and with an assortment of people each day.”

Life for Lynne and Chynna is made much more rewarding for them by family and their fun pursuits outside of work.

Wonderful Life

Chynna looks forward to time spent with her husband, Colin Douglas, who was born and raised in Fairhope.

In her free time, Lynne has a passion for spending time with her daughters and granddaughters, along with boating.

In the meantime, Chynna loves spending time cooking, creating new masterpieces to share with her family.
