01. In an Overcrowded City
2016 Site: Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan
At the Center of an Overcroeded city
The project is proposing the alternative of “Shibuya Station Redevelopment Project which has been proceeded for more than 20 years. While it is expected to have a big influence on the urban landscape for the next century, it divides Shibuya into parts in some ways. Division of the time axis of Shibuya. Due to the increasing constructions of skyscrapers, the scale of Shibuya itself was transformed. Moreover, structures of public transportation were required to alter. From the cultural perspective, we can see the division between culture of the city and main culture entering into subculture. After establishing infrastructural foundations for postwar logistics, Shibuya gradually has counterculture especially since 1964 TOKYO Olympics, which led to street culture. PARCO, the famous shopping building in Shibuya, has been built in 1969, and at the same time, branding along Koen-Dori has started. These indicate that Shibuya has developed as one of the biggest consuming-culture cities. Current Shibuya is based on the history that the culture has been hacking the city. This proposal inherits the stage nature of street culture by temporarily inserting a festival of street culture into the 20-year process of rebuilding. Under the concept of making the city itself a stadium by a form related to the surrounding skyscraper, this project is plotting of the wriggle landscape of city in the center of Shibuya.

Arena stadium floating above the station after completion of redevelopment in 2028 This building consists of four main buildings and a circle flow line extending obliquely at the center of Shibuya. Each building represents the characteristic of Shibuya as an icon. The first building is called the moving building which represents the side as a node of mobility. Dynamic colonnade and skip floors that fold over it provide a dynamic and dynamic space experience to visitors. The second building is the building of consumption. It represents aspects of consumption as a culture, and consists of small scale stores and wall elements filled with advertisements. The third building plays a warehouse of the city. Stocks kept in this building are expected to be not only the items within the station but also the stage equipment of peripheral cultural facilities. These are released some time, and some of the warehouse can also be used as a gallery. The fourth building is a building for waiting. This wing has a program that assumes a short-term stay among the whole movement. It covers the top of the West Transport Square, and cars can go enter the organic interior. Sequence expressing multifactor of Shibuya while going inside and outside gives a unique spatial experience. At the center of this sequence, Shibuya station inherits the history that has connected the core of lives and the city of Shibuya.

Monument physically pass down the memory It has started with the theme that the occurrence factor of the monument is attributable to the external elements. Then they extract the principle of existence of the monument interactivety existing in the area of the five scales, and sublime it as a modern monument. Monuments physically inherit memories. This project is to design "Ma,” which adds operation to the road surface in the corner of the Kokubunji cliff line.

2016 Site: Setagaya, Toyo, Japan Focusing on the nature of the staircase made up of the continuum of the plane of the smallest unit, I gave a continuous plane overlapping the geographical shape. The height difference is due to the topography of the site. People create affordance phenomena that change the way of using steps based on the height difference of the topography rather than on the designer's intention. Kokubunji cliff line was formed by the Tama River intervening in the Musashino prateau area. That process is updated, and Kokubunji staircase takes place in an ordinary residential area. This is area is abundant in spring waters so that conservation movement is also actively conducted for the purpose of protecting natures related to Musashino prateau and preserving it to the next. However, modern preservation activities are nothing but visual operations. The physical response to the mother nature cannot be recorded. Building Green parks in the city does not mean that we preserve nature. To illustrate this, we can easily find protective fences and asphalt somewhere in parks. As a response to nature, human beings have defined “monuments.” This Kokubunji staircase will be a device that will inherit the history of lives in Musashino prateau, the history of physical actions. In order to respond to this cliff, people there build a bridge across the stairs, plow a part of the staircase to make and use it as a playground for the neighbor children.

Library that connects with the active city
This project proposes a static program, a library, to a dynamic site named Union Square in the center of San Francisco. Based on the concept that the urban environment is filtered, I suggested the process by which environmental elements transform into structure and space. The pattern of the facade changes the spatial nature of the buffer.Originally, a library was a place for dialogues among information and people. But now, in this informational society, its significance has changed into a place for people to interact one another. Information gets dissolved in the Internet and mediates human relations. The site is located in the southeastern part of the Bay Area, which is known for Silicon Valley. Many events have been held there where there are many ethnic groups, and this area also plays the role of connecting points of business and commercial areas.

Designing buffer zones using an environmental simulation tool
Using different tools for different design processes
San Francisco has a Mediterranean climate unique to California. It is cool and dry all year around, and even clouds cannot be seen that often. Considering the internal heat generated by computers and users, summer would provide a low-cost and comfortable environment. In the wind environment, a dominant wind with an average wind speed of 3 to 4 m / s has been confirmed from the northeast. CFD analysis shows that there is little wind around the site. The analysis results mentioned above imply that direct gain of radiant heat of sunlight in winter may be effective. From the viewpoint that it is not suitable for reading environment when the ventilation environment is too good, I eliminated the blind affirmative attitude towards excessive ventilation environment.
The process begins with the designing of the perimeter zone. In the perimeter zone, there is a unit consisting of four scales connected to the pattern of the facade. Various ways of using and environmental functions are formed by using CFD, DIVA, Revit analysis tools. Lighting environment analysis determine the transmittance of the material and the pattern of the. Then, the composition of the inside wall is determined by utilizing wind environment analysis. At last, the physical property value and detailed usage are determined by energy simulations. These consistent processes are based on a concept called a facade box, which is the main concept of the proposal.

04. WRAPPING CITY
2017 Omotesando, Tokyo, Japan
Importance of physical shopping experience Omotesando has been promoting commercialization along the street of rows of Zelkova trees, while preserving the color of living continued for long. As a result, unlike huge modern commercial buildings that incorporate block districts and promote "internalization", Omotesando forms a unique character as a "shopping street in nature" where shopping streets can be enjoyed. "Wrapping City" is a platform that aggregates the warehouses in the Omotesando area as " base of delivering goods" and accerelate the enjoyment of town walking. The space wrapped with ribbon not only directs a special delivery experience but
also opens to the city as a public space. In this globalized century, while there are imported gorgeous oversea brands along the main street, the back street living and commerce are mixed in the intimate space in housing spaces. Also, in this current informative society, the commercial acts have been homogenized, and the importance of 'physical design of purchasing experience' is increasing. That matters for brands that have real stores. Due to those background, it is a proposal of a construction revealing the middle area of Omotesando as the backyard of the city.

Virtual rental floor system I will transfer the warehouse function of the contract store existing in Omotesando. Each store leases with inventory quantity managed by tag, not floor area. Delivery space The store can design according to the inventory quantity. The customer enjoys walking by doing trial fitting etc. at the store, and we will receive the item of your choice in this building. There is a change from the street colored by the brand, and as the space of the atmosphere like the back streets where the items line up spread, the various deliveries from the couple who came to buy the ring on the anniversary to the event of the university student in the neighborhood The story of the experience will be spelled. "Wrapping ", which occurs when delivering goods, is regarded as a cultural acting presenting delivery of a mind. That is different from the movement of ownership rights. "Wrapping" the residential scale volume seen in the back streets with the urban façade of the main street creates an intermediate area connecting the back and the table. That also directs the spatial nature of Omotesando.

As the Backyard of the City Aggregating the warehouse functions of shops located in Omotesando proposes a newly designed building that will offer the new purchasing experience. This not only opens the backyard of the existing store to the road as a public function but spreads the migratory mobility around the store across the whole city. The ribbon that colors wrapping has become a motif of architecture. The soft facade gently connects the inner and outer activities through the gap and spins a new landscape of Omotesando. The ribbons are also components of joinery, such as handrails, holding the scale of the city and human beings together. Moreover, the ribbon consists of a structural ribbon with steel wire and a stretchy faรงade ribbon. The structural ribbon with tensions weaves wires of common wire-rope like a ribbon. The facade ribbon changes the position and torsion according to the application and the season to controls solar radiation.

Study On Barrier of Pedestrian Movement in Multilevel Complex by Space Syntax Theory
2016 Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan
In this research, I focused on the Shibuya station
and compared the position of the elevating device in the stereoscopic walking space and the phase relationship in the plane space by the space syntax theory. I analyzed the accessibility of the ground space and the underground space, and aimed at obtaining objective data which helps the barrier free research. Space syntax theory was proposed by Bill Hiller at UCL in the 1980's, and which focus is on the phase relationship of space. As an analysis tool, it uses DepthMap, which is provided free of charge from UCL.
This theory has three axes: isovista value, convex
space, and axial map. In this research, Isovista value was used for geographical characteristic analysis of the ground block, convex analysis was used for connection of the route, and analysis was used for plane analysis of the underground space.
At last, this project is the integration value which
is the core of this theory is obtained, the position of the elevating device is plotted, the relationship between the floors is analyzed, and the barrier of the movement due to the bias of the accessibility is manifested. 2(MD-1) TD=Σ( 各 step×Line 数 ) k=AL 総数 k-2 k+2 2(k(log ( 3 )-1)+1) TD RA 1 MD= RRA= Int.V= RRA k-1 (k-1)(k-2) Dk D k = RA=

Re-Design of Plaza
I proposed the way of a new plaza in the castle village spreading in Shenzhen, China. In the mature era of modern cities, the margin space tends to be a simple space for transportation, which makes it difficult to realize experiential design of the space. It designs the lives of people by partially removing the elements of the existing buildings, and then changes the degree of freedom of the space used inside. as a re-design of the open space. In the process of being phased out, the landscape of a new urban space is spun while inheriting the traces of usage.

06. A Sculptural Plaza
2017 Shinthen, China Plaza used to be designd from the extra space in economical growth period. The extra space cannot aboid to be used as just a traffic space these days in mature age, which bothers the experimental design of urban space. I proposed the re-desgin of plaza as a new kind of process of design, making the contrast of how freely people can use stronger by partially removing the existing elements. On the process of well phased demolishment, it would weave a story of urbanscape while suceeding how to use the space.

Site -Shinzhen-
Picked up Shawei in Futian Shinzhen, China where is known as one of urban villaages. Shinzhen city has been developing rapidly and there are many density rental tower mantions at random.
Process
(1)
Pick up the terminal tower of demolisfment
(2)
Extending the residential towers
(2)
Expanding the horizontal circulation
Choose the terminal point of demolishment at first to remove the protruding outwall and insert the structural support material. Then, set up the basepoint of expanding construction.
Extend the affordable area. A part of demolish tower could connect the surrounding as an extending of existing architecture for mixed community.
Improve the horizontal circulation for security and safety, small scale size of program and voids would spread out and receive various layer of residents from the demolishment point as the starting point.

Small Extra spaces generate the Depth of Life
Koen-zi has a typical atmosphere of density city, Tokyo. I considered that the merit of a housing in Tokyo is the precesnce as a basement of daily life for one peaceful family. I intentionally added some 'extra space' in various spaces in this housing such as kitchen, powder room, corridor, stairment, etc. You can see a character of life in the space which has a tendency to become dead space. It generates 'Depth' which enable you to imagine a variety of life in all of this housing. This 'Depth' of life, the 'Extra spaces' generate, would give the residents the presence as the basement. Times passes slowly in contrast to the hustle-bustle uraban life. After you enter the entrance, walk alound while surrounding the courtyard as a buffer space. The spacious extra in the stairment can become the good napping space. Mother can sit on the small extra in the kitchen where she can see through living and bathroom. The smaii extra in the corridor, chirldren can face to the courtyard. These trics are supposed to make their connection stronger.

Back up the Earth
To the seemingly unseen future, we entrust the presence of this earth and the existential proof of the mystery breathing there to the land outside the earth. This project, which started with a magnificent vision, not only builds a human settlement but also material that carved out the trajectory of every human civilization that has been withered and ruined on the earth and the historical story of life that can only be described as a miracle We will preserve the genetic information of spinning plants and animals. For facilities that are built in stages, people who migrate bring plant seeds and animal germ cells from the earth, and "earth archives" Starting from the opening space full of openness, a space with diverse functions grows all along the slope.

09. Attic of A Town
-Apartment complex connected with empty house sell 35 years old and children for "second-hand house + Buffer room" concentrated on newly constructed detached houses. Buffer which accepts the future life stage becomes incentive. Residents ripe with "Buffer room" in addition to vacant houses. Local residents, shops and temples indirectly involve "Buffer" using the public department. The whole area is multi-family residences. If a departing person comes out, wait for a new resident or arrange it as a square. Sometimes this community uses the "Buffer" as a trigger. If there are empty houses in the area, we will newly sell "Buffer room" in combination. Newly built detached house Percentage of residence

10. Permanent Temporary Housing
2018 New Delhi
Concept : Movable = Economical + Assemble I propose a temporary dwelling on the scaffoldings that are used in increasing construction works in the urban area of India, where construction market and city concentration are being progressed for the next 20 years. In corporating in the local material flow enable us to reduce the cost and to improce the urban environment by reducing the total energy use.We make good use of the excess scaffolding as a frame structure, and fits the living unit which is based from many recycled materiaks such as corrigated metal with water proofing properties and added simple planting to help naturally cool space. We choice a place in New Delhi surburb where a shopping mall has an important function of infra structure for the people living in around area. 4 typical sites are picked up below. The scaffolding is overrapping on the existing scenery which each features are reflected on. The scaffolding housing solve the problems and add ad new city on this city.
