One of the key features of Solstice™ series is its specially designed, precise lens-like curvature that nearly eliminates hot-spotting. WHY SOLSTICE FOR 3D? Challenges for current 3D projection displays ► Low Brightness (for active & passive 3D) • The polarization filter and polarized glasses reduce over 70% of the image brightness between the light source and viewers' eyes. • Polarization retention and cross-talk (for passive 3D) • To enable stereoscopic vision, a special screen that preserves polarization is required. • Standard screens diffuse lights therefore incapable of retaining polarization. - Poor polarization preservation adds “cross-talk”

Solstice enables 3D images to be viewed on a large screen under unfavorable bright ambient lighting.
Cross-talk (commonly known as ghosting) is inevitable on most 3D Silver Screens due to poor polarization preservation. However, Solstice screen is designed with a material that reflects more than 99% of polarization. It virtually eliminates cross-talk / ghosting and allows for the best 3D images.
Benefit of the curve
Accepts input from the highest-resolution source The micro-fine diffusion lines (<10㎛) along the scanning axis along with the micron-sized particle (<5㎛) surface achieves the highest possible resolution and displays the images as they are truly meant to be seen.
Precise lens-like curvature prevents hot-spotting and rejects ambient sources. In addition, the curvature enhances the 3D effect by increasing the perceived depth.

DUAL PROJECTION (DOUBLE-SIDED) SCREEN Dupic Dupic screens are made of a new film technology for the projection screens that has been optimized to transmit 50% of the incident light while reflecting 50% of the remaining light. When applied to an acrylic panel and suspended in the middle of an open space, video images of equal brightness and quality can be viewed from both sides of the panel - 360° viewing experience without over hanging heavy equipment. How does it work? Dupic film has 2times improved refractive index which makes the image refracted equally (1:1) from a projector on both directions. 50% of the projection light (G) goes through the film (D) to the other side (G -> G"), the rest of the light (B) is refracted inside of the film and bounces back toward the projector (B -> B").
