UGRR Trail Saturday Guided Hike WOODLAWN CULTURAL HISTORIC SITE
Conductors provide a glimpse of the experience of 19th century freedom seekers utilizing a secret network known as the Underground Railroad. Learn techniques used by “freedom seekers” to navigate their way North, elude detection and find food and shelter. Roundtrip hikes lasts approximately 2 1/2 hours along 2 miles of wooded, natural surface hiking trail starting/ending at Woodlawn Manor Cultural Park. Interpretive content best suited for children 7 and up. Woodlawn Museum admission not included.

The Underground Railroad Experience Trail is open year-round, sunrise to sunset for self-guided exploration, free ofcharge. Trail maps are available outside the Visitor Center, at the trail kiosk and on our website WoodlawnManor.org.
