My love and Passion towards wanting to become a Clinical psychologist is because naturally i am a person who loves helping people especially mentally because that is something I can relate to as well and this is why I am also a mental health advocate or educated about it. I believe tackling mental health issues can have solve others social issues we experience in the world, it all starts within the mind.
My hobbies are Dance and Modeling. I started modeling in primary school pageants and that is when my love for modeling developed. What inspired me to start modeling is that it is not just about the glitz and glam but it also focuses on helping the community at large and when I saw it has something I love doing which is giving back to the community I was inspired because not only do I love the giving part but I also love being on stage and being a role model to my peers.
The challenges I have faced as a semi-finalist included finances but because of the passion driven in me for modeling I learnt they are so many ways to fundraise and raise money for donations, selling and hosting an event that is how I tackled that challenge
If I win in the Miss teen Universe pageant I want to carry on pushing my advocacies which are mental health and Women Empowerment. Teenage Suicide is another leading pandemic and I want to create a platform where people can express their emotions and create mental health awareness and with Women empow- from, if you dream and believe it with all your heart it will be a success. I feel women capabilities are underestimated in society and I feel it is time we are given a chance to show and step into our power
From the Miss teen Universe Pageant I have learnt to be authentically myself, I also learnt that you don’t have to have money in order to be able to give you could just give something you no more wear or just your time it could mean a lot to someone. I learnt some good communication skills when I approached strangers asking for votes or looking for sponsors and good entrepreneurship skills in fundraising money for my journey.
Miss teen Universe South Africa is a girl child empowerment pageant which aims empowerment young girls to be the vest version of themselves, to inspire and be a role model to the youth.
