How did you become a blogger/ social media Influencer?
This is such an interesting question! I studied marketing and pr and journalism at UNI and opening a blog was actually part of a term project. My blog, initially, was only about interior design. I love writing and found that doing this was really satisfying for me, so I kept dedicating more and more time to it.

What inspires you to make your posts everyday?
It is more the small things that I find in my day to day life. There is nothing specifically that i normally look for but I find that my best content is always created when I travel.
How would you describe your feed in 3 words?
Casual, simple, adventurous
Describe your favorite “fan” experience.
Once, I bumped into a fan on the train while taking brooks to school. I was ill and looking absolutely terrible and she approached me and asked me if it was me and mentioned that she would probably not recognize me if it was not because of my son. Terrific!!
How do you interact and engage with your audience?
This is something I am working more at this year. I have started dedicating one day a week to answer questions and emails from my audience. I have realized how important this is and i love to be useful or helpful to them anyway.
Tell us about your time in Kenya. What did you love most about the Getaway?
This was truly the best trip of my life. I know i have said this a million times on instagram, but it is the truth. I just fell in love with how real everything is there, it feels that time has never passed and I have never felt nature in such an intense way. It was very emotional to me!
Describe the Safari lodge where you stayed. What was your favorite part and what made it such a unique and memorable experience?
I think I felt like if I was in a movie while at cottars camp. It is the most authentic, real and beautiful safari camp in the world. I especially loved the nights around the fire with the masai warriors singing and dancing around the flames. It was just magical.
What did you enjoy most about Hemingways Nairobi?
That you should take some time to appreciate the beauty of nature and also to think about others. For my husband it was the first time that he visited an african village. We know how lucky we are, that we have a home, the opportunity to travel and everything but it is so important to also help others. So we definitely want to keep that always in mind and really want to help others, as the people over there are so positive and welcoming.
What is something you have taken away from your travels in Africa?
There are so many things i have learned and felt there. If I was to choose one I would say the way Kenya made me feel.
What is something on your bucket list that you would love to accomplish in the next 5 years?
Write a book, travel more with brooks and work more on my youtube channel.
Describe a typical day off for you- how do you like to spend your free time?
Without a doubt, my perfect day off is with my son. We play all day, visit some new places, have food at our favorite spots or try new ones and finally we snuggle in the sofa, order bubble tea and watch a movie.
What is your favorite late-night treat?
Bubble Tea! Always!
What is your travel skincare regimen?
I try to moisturize day and night. Also, I drink extra water while I am flying and carry a face moisturizer or spray on my bag.
What Pixi lipstick shades do you tend to gravitate to?
All the pastels! They are my favs!
What are you most looking forward to with Spring Beauty trends?
Bright colors!
What are some of your current favorite fashion trends?
I am obsessed with big sleeves and volumes.
What is your current style of sunglasses that you have been wearing?
Aviators. I had not wear them in a long time even tho they are timeless and always fashionable but now they are back into my life and I wear them everyday.
What kind of jewelry accessories to you gravitate to when putting together an outfit?
Depends really on what I am wearing. I am more into a lot of combined necklaces at the moment.
Do you have any upcoming projects that you can tell us about?
My youtube channel which is launching real soon and I am very excited about!
